You're not expecting the Republicans to acknowledge we have a gun problem, do you? They blamed doors after Uvalde, probably blame women's clothing or rooftops for this one. Everything and anything but guns and lax gun laws.
Stop tinkering with laws involving the utility/tool and just make murder illegal...mass shootings would end immediately as everyone would now follow the law!
The Republicans told us in the 80's that if we armed more people, things would be safer as people would be able to police themselves, They "tinkered" and it's been a disaster, like everything else they have pushed.
How about this, make everyone that owns a gun join a well-regulated militia? That's what the Constitution says. Enforce it.
