this is an example of why i think it is near impossible to handi cap NBA!

these guys play so many games, they couldnt give a shit if they win half of the time. you never know whos gonna show.
these gangsters only play when they feel like showing up.

now look at MINN. they just lost to the cavs!!!

I hate to bring this up...ever wonder these f**kin players have their $$$ or friends on some of these games?
Why they kept lookin at the score/time?etc while they dribble the ball down the court? Anyway, NBA suck sometime...sigh

portland is not a very good team this year plain and simple. they have talent but that does not make them a team. any team with a little bit of desire and hard work which the knicks always seem to have can beat them even with less talent. the line set at port-3 already told us so and the fact that port does not cover the line so far this year should have brought red flags to us in this game.

this post is littered with misinformation......

the knicks always seem to have desire and hard work????? are you kidding me????
knicks are going to implode any day now...

port. was 3-5 ATS coming into game as well.....

Portland played bad tonight. Hit 1-twenty something from behind the arc, had a horrible start, and were still leading heading into the 4th quarter......just too much to overcome with all those things

The problem is -- these rich brain-dead athletes have way too much power. The players. The union. The egos. Coaching has become an extinct profession in the NBA. Any effort to discpline a player is met with a comment in the morning paper that "coach so-and-so DISRESPECTED me." Look at the faces of the Toronto players tonight sitting on the bench in the fourth quarter like they were at a party. Down by 10-15 points the whole way after a dismal performance, I saw three seperate camera shots of the "stars" laughing and teasing each other. Down by 15 and laughing. Coach Wilkins was just sitting there. Not a f***ing thing he could do about it. That just about sums up the NBA and most all sports. Overgrown kids with IQs on the scale of a grapefruit, worshiped as Gods by society. It's one reason I'm proud to be a gambler -- which is the ultimate anti-establishment activity that flies in the face of all the major sports leagues. There's nothing sweeter than cheering for the losing team as they come off the court, just because they covered the pointspread.

Guys, I think this game had too good to be true written all over it. The Knicks are a much better team than they have played like to start the season. And they also historically are much better at home. If you notice they are now 3-1 at home and 0-4 on the road.

The NBA is probably the best sport for gambling. The NFL is joke now with all the crap that goes on. And you know all the college sports have strange stuff happening all the time too.

Nolan, I think the Toronto players were laughing and smiling like that because they couldnt understand why the stars of the team were on the bench when the game was still not decided in the 4th quarter. I dont blame them either...what was Lenny Wilkens thinking? I agree that NBA players are ridiculous but I think its that way with all major sports these days and the NBA players get more singled out because its a more individual sport than any other.

Just my thoughts on the subject. There is always tomorrow to get your losses back in the NBA. Good luck.
