Doesn't this oakland loss make the detroit play look even more appealing? It just seems that detroit will make this a close game as pitt is in a perfect letdown situation having wrapped up the division last week, and now it looks like they will have homefield for certain.

Anyway, here is what I like for Sunday:
Tampa Bay -2.5
Buff/atl over 41
Clev/GB under 37
Detroit +10

miami, fl.
the miami loss makes it more appealing, but in back of their minds, the pitt guys probably anticipated miami would go down.

of course, they will play their kind of game and aim for the win, but the intensity, that killer instinct, will not be there. that is the angle, together with a qb and a team fighting for respect. the perfect spot, now more so.

pitt is full of confidence by now, and a silly loss (or near loss) to detroit will mean beans, psychologically speaking, whereas it would have meant a lot 2, 3 weeks ago.

Detroit has got to be my faorite team this year. The public HATES them yet they play close ever week. I don't know what their record is ATS but its gotta be good for about the last two months. Ever since the media started talking about how bad they were.
