I can't even begin to get a feel on two of the three games tonight.
With O'Neal "maybe" coming back from a case of pneumonia and Bibby just getting over a case of the flu......I'm not real comfortable with Indy/SAC.
With Randolph's nasal passage plugged up and Wade's sore shin......who can have confidence in what's going to happen in the Mia/Jailmen tilt?
So, that leaves one game in my mind to try and figure out:
Den/Hou with lines of 3 and 192
-On Dec 23 these two met in Denver with an ending total of 194
-But.....two players from that game.....Howard with his 18 pts and Camby who had 12 in that one are not playing tonight.....for the reasons I explained in Green Tea's thread.
-In 9 of their last 11...the Nuggets have allowed or scored over 100 pts!
-In 8 of their last 11...the Rockets have allowed or scored over 100 pts! But....in 6 of those last 11 the high scoring team (Hou/their opposition) only hit 94 (with 4 of those 6) having the high team at 90 pts or less.
-Gotta think that Houston will want to avoid letting Den score 108 again and take another 22 pt. loss like in the fast paced game back on Dec. 23.
My play tonight is based more than anything on Howard and Camby's absence from their respective teams' lineups.....thus the loss of their scoring:
Den/Hou unda 192
