Flying home from Vegas. Had connection in Houston, left Houston via LR......we were 30 minutes into flight and I kept wondering why we were still flying close to the ground, finally pilot comes on and says that we have something wrong with the aircraft that we were turning around and going back to Houston! :scared at the moment I began to get a little nervous, when we got ready to land the pilot came back on and said that our landing gear never would go up so it was creating too much drag and we wouldn't make it to LR as we would burn too much fuel! He told us that he didn't know if it was locked into place or not so eceryone needed to brace themselves as soon as we hit the Tarmac we would be coming to an abrupt stop he stated! So as we begin to descend upon the runway they had us touching down at the farthest runway away from airport, as I looked out the window the runway was lined with emergency vehicles, ambulances and fire trucks .......at that moment I really began to get nervous even more as I thought that was it! Pilot touched that plane down like he was on cotton! Never been so happy to be on the ground, and considered renting a car to LR!

Outside the TSA and being pulled out of line to be searched...

Last month flying LV to Seattle while over Oregon we encountered turbulence. It was so bad it bounced me up out of my seat (I never wear the seat belt on a plane). It sounded like somebody was outside the plane hitting it with a giant sledgehammer! :scared

It lasted about 5 minutes, and we were all scared to death. The jet was rocking side to side, the noise, and the stewardess running to her seat looking scared out her mind. Never want that again.

Same here flying from Reno to Phoenix. Thank goodness the armrest was down to contain him in his seat. He could get his tray table down 3/4 til it hit his exposed gut. I think he thought I was part of the armrest because he hogged that and rested his arm overtop of me. I had my hand over my nose amd mouth for most of the flight and tried to sit leaning to the right. Other than that I have never had a bad flight.

On a sold out flight to Ft Lauderdale, I sat next to a guy who had unbelievably bad body odor. It gave me a splitting headache.

Flying from Costa Rico to Miami...get to Miami and instead of landing right away...started circling the airport...made about 10 laps then proceeded to land...wheels had almost touched down when pilot suddenly goes to full throttle up....climb back to 10-15k feet and do some more circling....

Pilot finally gets on intercom...."passengers if you'll notice...we've lost the rear airelon on the starboard wing....fell off the plane somewhere along the way....we want to burn as much fuel off as we can which is why we're circling....made a practice landing to see how it affected the planes handling...we'll be on the ground in a few minutes...sorry for the inconvenience"

Landed without incident...guess we did a 'touch n go" with a 737
