I would not leave, it makes you look like you were wrong. Just stay away from her till the am then let her bring it up, then say well how would you feel if some girl in a bar came over and hung on me infront of you knowing we were married. he had no class and if you leave you will looklike you are in the wrong. good luck stand your ground.

He was a little out of line. tough one. Once things cool down, I would ask her how she would feel if it was reversed.

Where it is real F ing COLD
I don't think this is a situation where you have to leave.. This should not be that big of a deal. It's not bad. You got some good advice, talk about it when you are sober.. Explain that you thought he had different intentions.. If this isn't the norm for you then she should be ok with it.. Now if you are a guy who continually gets jealous or has problems with her or her friend's guy friends then she could see this as a reoccuring problem. Some women like your actions because it shows you care.,

From your description of the events, I would not have done anything.

If your wife is attractive and friendly, then men will flirt with her to some degree on a regular basis, particularly in a setting such as the one you described.

Now you are leaving?? Make no sense for you to be moving out over something so insignificant as asking a man to keep his hands off of your wife.

Fortunately you were still drunk when you posted this, so hopefully this morning you guys talked about it briefly and have moved on. Otherwise, how will it work out when yourun into actual problems:shrug:

Alcohol involved, slept on the couch, shouldn't have written this, blown way out of proportion. Should have let her handle it like usual, nothing came out of it.

Signed,

I would have been pissed too, so don't feel too bad. I'm sure it looked a lot worse from the booze!

So... I seemingly fucked up tonight and it's bad.

One of my wife's best friend's guy friends came out for a party that my wife through.

He is an FBI Agent and was more than happy to talk about it. The women loved it. He got into a couple wierd stories and said some pointed questiones about masterbation to the women.

Mind you, we were in a bar BUT FBI wear guns at all times so he was wearing an ankle gun.

My wife walked away to talk to her best friend outside and this guy LEAVES me and walks over to her and puts her arm around her.

Not caring who the fuck someone is, I walk 50 ft over and say, Don't touch my wife.

He looks and me and says sorry. She flips out.

I'm packing my bags now. The dude was staring at her and making eye contact all night. My wife is pissed at me for starting a scene.

I'm wrong. BUT I'M RIGHT.

Now I'm leaving.

What would you have done?

I am sure there may be 1-2 law enforcement types that post here even though sports betting is considered the wrong side of the street in a court of law in 48 or 49 states. THAT SAID, my Dad warned my at age 12 about law enforcement officers, 90 % +/- are good level headed citizens doing a job to keep us all safe. I even deer hunt some with a local sheriff deputy and you could not ask for a better hunting partner. On the other hand as DAD said some of them believe they are a TIN GOD, I was big for my age and a deputy at the county fair(same county as my hunting buddy) said I would have to pay to get in......... the rule was 12 and under free admission, he swore up and down that I had to be 13 or 14, basically calling Dad a liar by default. Had to chase down my 4-H adviser to vouch for my age.

This guy obviously was out of line based on the comments and actions, yep it was a bar, but he was trying to hold court (be the big man) and his over abundance of ego is exceeded only by his lack of common sense and good manners!:nono:
