Always have to respect Bellichick and Brady, but Shanahan has a couple rings himself. What I hear and see regarding this game is how the Bronco secondary is gonna get torched by Brady. I don't see it. They will put pressure on New England, just as they did the first time around. The other noise is how Plummer is not a top level QB. What everyone is forgetting is this game is not in New England, it is in Denver! They have not lost there all year. This team has been under the radar all season, after opening with a big loss to Miami they have gone 13-2 and are just 5 points from 15 in a row!! That process has them 8-0 in Denver, including torching the Pats 28-20. Doesn't sound like much of a torching when you win by 8 points, but therein lies the reasoning here. This was no different than any other Bronco game this year. They pound teams to death with the running game at home, get a big lead, and coast home. They were up on the Pats 28-6 going to the 4th. Want to see their home games this year going into the 4th quarter, they are almost all the same:

They give up a lot of passing yardage and ranked number 30, not because they can't stop the pass, because they get big leads on every team, and sit back letting teams pass underneath. The result? They have given up 43 4th qtr points and only 57 the 1st 3 combined. That isn't a team getting tired, that isn't a team with a bad pass defense, it is a team that has been so dominant in the 1st three quarters, they don't play the 4th quarter to stop yardage. Take a look at the 1st quarter in DENVER:
Denver 61 OPPONENTS 9 NO TD'S!! ALLOWED

DENVER 64 OPPONENTS 31 4 TD'S

DENVER 125 OPPONENTS 40 4 TD'S allowed!!!
So tell me why they are ranked 30th against the pass? because every team they played has to abandon the running game, because they are behind!! Want more proof? The only game they were down at the half, they shut down SD in the 2nd half and outscored them 17-3!!! Denver has not scored in the 1st,2nd, and 3rd quarters combined only 4 times. Denver has not scored in the 4th quarter alone 4 times! Do you see what is happening here? They have dominated, and will dominate again.
How about Plummer? He has thrown just 2 INT'S all season at Denver. Why? Because Shanahan knows how to coach. Plummer is gonna only be given bootlegs,waggles, and rollouts, to one side of the field, with just one reciever to throw to. If he is not open he throws it out of bounds. He gets in trouble when he has to use the whole field. This is where Shanahan has maximized Denver's offense, and made the proper adjustments to allow Plummer to succeed. This game will not be close! Denver by double digits!
