When does a protester quit being a protester, and become a traitor?

i think protestors are doing this country a great disservice right now...

we are particularly vulnerable to terrorist attacks and these people are occupying police time which could be diverted to that and also costs taxpayers lots of $$

it also strengthens Hussein's resolve....

it also has a direct impact on our economy because these people are not being productive...

it also has a direct impact on the finance of our troops....less work means less revenue meaning less tax collected....since most of these people are leftists and take pleasure it would seem in paying their taxes, i would think this would be particularly troubling....UNLESS...the majority of these people do not have jobs...(which is probably not a reach)

it also hurts morale for our troops and saddens many people in this country who DO support the troops....i for one feel sadness when i see this activity as our brothers and sisters are sacrificing their lives for us and are treated in this way by our fellow countrymen...

but they DO have the freedom to do it....and we have the freedom to condemn it....and we should take that right....and FIRE those who protest in the streets.....then hire someone else who is a true patriot and who can realize when is the time to speak up and when is the time to be silent....

There is a time for everything, and right now is NOT it....if these people cannot figure that out, then it is up to the rest of us to offer up consequences.....

i think Dixie Chicks for one will be paying them....and that is the way America works....gov't doesn't make you pay because you can do what you want....but the "invisible hand" of the American people can make you pay (i know that term is slightly out of context here but same principle applies)

Saddam Hussein?s own soldiers are killing Iraqi citizens and fellow soldiers. There are reports that Saddam?s goons dress up like American soldiers, then shoot any Iraqi soldiers who try to surrender to the ?fake? American soldiers. Other Hussein henchmen are dressing as civilians and blending into the civilian population. When coalition troops get close enough they open fire.

Now ? look for protests against Saddam?s targeting of his own population. Look hard. You won?t find any. The great and wonderful ?peace? activists don?t care what Saddam does or doesn?t do. They?re waiting patiently. Waiting patiently until they can cite evidence that American and British troops are killing civilians. Then they?ll protest. Then they?ll share their moral outrage with us.

All though I do not take the view that protestors are traitors I do agree that at this time we do not need protestors in the streets using up valuable resources. We are vulnerable to attack and should not have to waste man power and money protecting any demonstrations for or against the war.
Just as the protestors feel that our government should come up with a better way of getting rid of Saddam the protestors should come up with a better way of protesting without causing havoic in the streets.
