Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.
Whats going to happen to off-shore?
Local Bookies?

I would be careful having a big chunk off-shore...probably going to be some el-foldos in the industry with no US money rolling in.

Fat Eddy may have to find a real job......

Going to be interesting.....as far as the"Integrity Fee",
Vegas never paid one....not going to happen now.....

State gubberment will find a way to muck it up, you can count on that.
If I was an Major Indian Tribe with multiple outlets, I would be hustling to be ready for Day 1.

Let's think about this for a moment......Pay state taxes and fees vs paying ZERO taxes? The offshore books should flourish!!! JMO

I think NY will try to stop the Indians from starting sports betting. The state has built more and more of their own casinos and will probably forbid it. They will use sports betting as a fighting point Relationships pretty lousy between Indians and state here in Western NY. Interstate 90 rough as hell through reservation and that's NYS Thruway toll road. It hasn't been repaved in years. One Indian reservation cigarette and gas store is currently building right up to thruway from the outside. They look to be building a rest stop type area. .This will be another big issue. The Indians always seem to outfox the state though.

Congress gets involved. Smoozing with team owners and athletes + FREE TICKETS + Integrity FEE (Ironically where there is no integrity). You already are seeing it with GOV Justice in WV :0008

if you have to go to brick and mortar casino, racetrack, etc I am not doing that each day or week. Convenience stores have it I may give it a shot.

Only way for it to work is on a federal level so we can bet through our mobile devices

I am in Bible belt Texas, we don't even have casinos so betting on sports isn't going to happen here, I will continue betting offshore

High juice, very limited betting options, it will suck, IMO. I don't even bet sports with Vegas sports books when I'm here, I use off shore like I always do. If you have to physically go to the betting shop/casino, it definitely won't work. Who wants to do all that unless you're lucky to be 10 minutes away, and what about last minute bets, 2H bets that probably won't be available, etc? For me personally, forget it. THEN, you can bet your sweet ass if you win, you will get a tax statement at the end of the year to report your taxes, after all, that's why they are doing this. See what happens, I hope I'm wrong. But I'm not wrong about offshore books going away and the local books won't go away either.

How about seeing this;
Ravens -2 -145
Bengals +2 -145

That you WILL see. Forget -105 or -110

Forget about getting bonuses too. That ain't happening.

They will have it set up so it's impossible to win.

Can I get an AMEN. I've been saying all of the above on the other thread. The books will be paying such high vig to the states that the juice is going to be out of control. Add in paying taxes on any winnings and you'd need to be hitting like 65-70% to be profitable. Offshore is going nowhere.

As I mentioned in the other thread........

5 years from now you will have Pro Teams in USA sponsored by Sportsbooks and you'll have Sportsbooks advertising all over the place, just a matter of time. And what will happen when these Sportsbooks come into the US Market? Competition, that's what. If you have Stars Group, William Hill, Bet365, Ladbrokes, Betsson Group, Sportingbet, Betfair, Paddypower, BetVictor, etc, etc, all competing then I can tell you one thing, you won't be getting -120 juice on lines I can tell you that. Long way off from that right now, but eventually that competition will arrive on US soil and with that competition the consumer will be the winner.

And you will have "bonuses" and "free bets" and all that other stuff. It won't happen right away but eventually it will happen.

And as I mentioned in other thread this will be great for Madjacks those Billion Dollar companies will advertise at Madjacks. Again, not right away, but it will eventually happen.

I also find it very amusing that USA finally legalizes Sports Betting and almost every comment is negative, I mean fucking hell:facepalm: All the bitching about "why is it not legal in USA" for years and years, it is finally legal and 80 percent of the comments are negative, and nothing has even happened yet and you fuckers are talking about how great bookies are and how you'd rather wager with somebody in Panama or Costa Rica:142smilie I mean how many threads on here are about how one gets fucked over with fees or whatever at "Illegal Sportsbooks" and how bad the customer service is, and blah blah blah blah and then USA finally wakes the fuck up and legalizes the shit all you guys to is bitch:facepalm:

I'll say this again like I did in the other thread, eventually a "big boy Sportsbook" will be allowed to set up shop in one State and then the floodgates will open and you'll be good to go.

Bitch Bitch Bitch:facepalm:

Prior to the Supreme Court ruling.....betting on sports was legal in Nevada, Montana, Oregon and Delaware how many people got a tax statement? I am guessing not many. How many Madjackers have placed sports bets in Nevada and got a tax statement? Again, I am guessing not many.

So now all of a sudden it will change and everybody will receive a tax statement? I doubt it.

Too much sky is falling going on around here. Let's wait and see how it shakes out

No shit.

You'd think all American Sports Bettors would be happy, nothing has even happened yet and we are getting threads about how amazing bookies are, how the IRS will be ramming down your door with tax bills, and how wagering your money in Costa Rica is the best thing ever:facepalm:

Fucking hell:facepalm:
