Where have some big and not so big names ended up?? This one brought back some fuzzy Sunday afternoons of the 1970's. Remember 'Frenchy Fuqua', the Pittsburg Steelers running back whose outlandish and whacky 1970's clothing once included glass high-heeled shoes with Goldfish swimmming inside???? 'Frenchy' is still wearing boots, but now they are the working kind.He can be found in Michigan working at a circulation plant for the Detroit News. O.K. you guys there must be a hundred stories out there ,i'm sure Investment Exec. must have a couple of dozen himself. Is 'Hollywood' Henderson out of prison yet?? Come on guys let the stories fly....Spanky...

Spanky.....I know the game you are talking about, it was the NFC championship between the 49ers and the cowboys. I remember betting on that game, my local had the line at Dallas-3......I was up in the air about who to take.....I decided to take the Cowboys-3 and was losing the whole game as the cowboys would maybe go up by 1 or 2 or be behind.......then with about 4 minutes left Dallas got the ball and scored to go up by six with about 1:44 left in the game......I had it in the bag now.......How could the 49ers drive the length of the field in 1:44 right...........wrong they drove the length of the field in about 1 minute and scored on THE CATCH by Dwight Clark.....the 49ers then went on to win the sb against cincinnati........One of my first tough losses ever.......funny thing is, over time those losses still seem pretty tough to take. Its funny how I can remember almost any sporting event over the last 25 years but I couldnt pass history in college the first time. I remember my dad getting me a football book in 1971 and all I did was memorize every teams roster.
