Three men want to check into a motel.The desk clerk said the room would cost $30.00.Each man paid $10.00 & went to the room.A little later the desk clerk realized that he over charged the 3 men.The room cost $25.00,not $30.00.The clerk sent a bellhop to the 3 guys room with $5.00.On the way to the room the bellhop was trying unsuccessfully to figure out how to evenly split the $5.00 among the 3 men.So he decided to give each man $3.00 & pocket $2.00 for himself.This meant that the 3 men each paid $9.00 for the room,which totals $27.00.Add the $2.00 that the bellhop kept for himself & the total is $29.00.
Where is the other dollar?
