Which Sportsbook?!?!

Ok, I've decided to try out a new sportsbook and would prefer to pick one that MadJack supports. Here's my criteria:

Must accept Paypal

Would like to find a sportsbook that offers 2nd half lines on just about every game. My previous sportsbook would usually only offer 2nd half lines at halftime and would NEVER offer 2nd half lines for games late at night.

I've taken a look at almost all of the books above and am thinking that WSEX or First Fidelity might be the way to go. Does anybody have information for me about these two books? Do they offer plenty of 2nd half lines?

Would appreciate any help on the books listed or others that MadJack sponsors that I may have overlooked.

Thanks :D

Nickelback,

Looking at my spreadsheet I realized that Wagerstreet was one of the books that best matched my needs. Except for one thing. No "IF" bets. Also, if you occasionally try for a big parlay, they're odds for 6 or more games are not very good.

I do occasionally try a parlay, although usually 4 -5 teamers. But, so many times the first game on the card loses. So, taking Raymonds advice, I want to set up my parlays as "IF" bets. This does a couple of things, 1. Since my parlay includes my "best" play, I won't lose both bets if it fails to win, 2. Since the Parlay is in action IF one of the bets wins, it then reduces the amount of other teams that have to win.

A 4 team parlay will only be in action if one of the 4 has already won, thus making only 3 teams that now need to win, thus incease the chance of it hitting.

The other thing I was looking for in a book, is hockey ML's. I can't stand the puck line, and so many books only offer that.

Other Books that meet "our" similar criteria are

WSEX (max 8 team parlay)
Maxim (no Ifs)

Hope this helps

Nickel- I saw you posted in another thread you were considering Carib..I think you will like it there...have 2nd half lines for all the televised NCAA games and most of the high profile games... Overnight lines..Red Raider mentioned 'if bets'..they have those as well. Pretty much everything you are looking for is there.

Hoops,

Thanks for reponding!

So can you clarify, that they DO NOT have 2H's on all late games, just televised ones?

I agree, with nickelbacks assesment, I want a book with everyline possible. Its irritating to want to place some wager only to find your book doesn't offer.

Also, in light of the AG closing, do you think Carib is solid? I know nothing is certain, but just your casual opinion? It seems like they offer a lot of the stuff that got Aces in trouble, i.e. 5% vig, etc...

Raider- Of course nothing is guaranteed, but Carib is a 'solid' book. They have some perks, but certainly don't give away the farm with ridiculous bonuses, etc...far from it.

They have second half lines for all pro sports, for college they have televised game second halves and a good potrtion of the other games. They offer tons of props and other unique lines for different events if you are into those.

It is a very good book IMO, been around for quite some time, never a question of slow or no pay up to this point.

RR and Hoops,

Thanks for the help! I've decided to go with Carib (actually signed up last night) and see how the 2nd half lines go. . . may throw some cash in Wagerstreet if there are 2nd half lines that Carib doesn't offer.

Appreciate all the info. . .

As mentioned elsewhere, you can not include in an "IF" bet a game that its action depended on. So Using IF's only help by risking won money.

Still not a bad idea

I've hear alot of talk about "Carib" as being a book to check out, but my question is what is their full name, also that book doesn't appear to be one of the books listed at the top of the sheet, or am I missing something. Thanks for the help.

now i can recommend them without being unfair to the other paying advertisers because carib came aboard this morning.

welcome aboard, caribsports!!

Been waiting for that Carib sponsorship. Nickel i ditto what hoops says. Been with Carib for 3 years now and never a problem as of yet, and when u do have a question to the left you click on send memo, and within minutes they have an answer on your screen in a bright yellow box, no waiting for emails nothing. I would also take a look at:
*Pinnacle(sharp book, great for baseball)
*SIA(great dog lines, only set back takes a few minutes for them to credit account, and low wager max)
*Cris(very sharp)

These are the 4 i use. Been good to me so far.

Carib is a great book. I think they were the second book I ever used. Never any problems getting paid. Always very quick to respond.
