The whistle blower from prison and those screw ups and stupidity in Iraq was given up on National T V.
Seems Rumsfeld announced to the world the guys name. Then His own kind and even his home town turn on him. Rednecks threaten his family. So he has to hide and go in governments protection plan. What B S. You could bet these righteous asses had a family member rapped and no one would come forward with info. They would go totally nuts. He did the right thing. We can't pick and choose about right and wrong. Wrong is wrong. He being a military police officer did his job. But I can't believe Rummyhead was so stupid.

This administration has been doing things like that since the beginning. They will come down, with the full force of the "Liberal Media" on anyone who speaks out against them. Joe Wilson

Is that the same Joe Wilson whose bogus report was discredited by everyone on both sides--and only got job because of his wife who was "covert agent" but hadn't seen days in field since twins were born bout 5 years ago and was ready for and since retired?
--would be more concerned about "liberal media" leaking every "covert" operation we have to catch terrorists--

or are you so politically vendictive your concern lies more in bogus reports than the saftey of you and yours?

DJV I am not sure what your talking about. could you elaborate--it sounds interesting.

anybody think that it`s a strange coincidence that this whole "cell phone frenzy" thing started around the same time that the n.y.t`s exposed the nsa intercept program(12/15/05)?....

interesting ain`t it...

Yeah, i'm sure the terror cells here had no clue that their phones might be tapped. That is, before the evil NYT's reported it.

So you think the NYT is responsible for these guys running around buying cellphones? Is that basically it?

i think that given the timeframe in the spike in cellphone purchses and the nyt`s article,yes.....

a correlation can be made....

1) nsa intercepts overseas call between a known terrorist and a cell phone in the united states...

2) nsA notifies the fbi that the following cell phone number originating the the united states has been in communication with a known terrorist....

3) fbi learns that the cell phone number belongs to someone in new york....

4) fbi submits request for a fisa warrant to monitor all calls to the cell phone and obtain the “phone records” from previous calls....

5) fisa approves the warrant and fbi starts the wiretapping and uses the “phone records” to identify others that belong to this terror cell.

the nyt`s and others from the left have a problem with the very first step in the above example...... they say that the nsa has no legal authority to send the intercepts to the fbi because it invades the privacy of the person who is talking to an enemy of the u.s. and is basically the same as “guilt by association”......

where their line of thinking fails, falls in the fact that the suspect will not have anything to worry about if there is no crime in progress and they will never even know they were looked at to begin with. .....

what the traitors have done is to help the terrorist make the job of the fbi, which is to protect all of us, harder to accomplish because the phone number they receive from the nsa will not be as easy to trace back to an individual as quickly as with a "regular" cell.....

you can't believe that the times made good judgments by leaking this stuff....& yes i think it does hurt our national secuirty..

the times has a tremendous hatred for this administration & will do anything to hinder bush's efforts on all of the things his administration is trying to do...even if it means hurting our national security...

One and the same DTB. Just like everyone else who told those crooked murders the truth.. Funny isn't it, how you know so much about Wilson. Too bad he was right.
I don't think anything was leaked prior to Bush announcing to the nation and the world how he was going to track terrorists in the days following 9/11..

Jabber, you clearly don't understand what's happening here. It's not the actual crimes and criminals which are bad, it's the reporting of them that's bad. Everything would be fine if people would just let the crimes be covered up - as God intended. Damn media is always screwing that up because of their hatred of freedom.
