5-0 lead and they are now 5-5. the idiot cws manager lets garcia start the 8th and he gives up a single to the first batter and he yanks him. unless he told the manager he was done why let him start the inning ? i hate baseball
just got home from work..was 5-2 last i heard...trying to figure out why garland was lifted...???

85 pitches and he takes him out. unless garcia was injured or asked to come out the manager is a total fool. cotts relieved garcia and the batter was safe at first on an error by 1st baseman. well, the idiot changes pitchers again and the next guy hits a 3 run homer. go figure.
Garland is pitching, not Freddy An. Garcia. That said, Garland working on a 6-hitter, pitching well---no reason to pull him there if he's healthy.
this is no disrespect to any chisox fans...but this manager does things i just scratch my head about...and often...
solid team...but i have said this before...looks like they win despite the manager to me...but then again i dont watch them everyday..when i do get to catch them he usually does at least one thing were im just baffled...

you ar eright. i have them in 2 parlays but not straight up but it just seems foolish to pull him with a 5-2 lead, let the next pitcher face one batter and then change again. i am sure he was playing it by the book but i think garland deserved to face another batter or leave him in the dugout to start the 8th.TigerPawsSC said:

wow...once again we see a lead off double and the team just refuses to bunt the guy over to third to hit a scarifice to take the lead...
how much easier can you get than that..and i have seen at least 4 times the same exact scenario this year...pathetic baseball..

Wow, 2 hits, no one retired by the pitcher, yet the scoreboard reads 2 outs and nobody on. Great great job.
lowell.. and there is no excuse about asking a guy to bunt there ...the leadoff hitter should have no problem bunting...not like a 4 or 5 hitter
