I live here, and have been a fan my entire life. I honestly have not heard anyone "hating" the Saints this year. I have heard folks question whether the Saits are among the best teams in the league, but that is only natural since the list of QBs they have faced this season until last night is comprised of youth and inexperience, plus Eli was hurt when the Gmen came to town. These questions have been put to bed now, and I feel strongly that the Saints currently deserve #1 spot in the power rankings.

However, I maintain that the defense is questionable due to rash of injuires in the secondary and a bit of a hole at LB.

After watching last nights game I am FINALLY convinced this team is the real deal. It took this long because up until last night they never really played a good team. I'm surprised you think the defense is 'questionable'. It doesn't matter that the starting DBs are hurt because their 'backups' (McKenzie and McCallister) could start on most other teams. At this point there seems to be no holes in this team.

BTW, it is good to see a classy Saints fan like yourself, unlike that Tdog that keeps running his mouth every week and he doesn't even live in New Orleans.

A man and his Saints tickets...

A man had 50 yard line tickets for the recent Saints Pats game. He attended alone.

Another man approached and asked if anyone is sitting in the seat next to him.

"No," he says, "The seat is empty."

"This is incredible," said the man. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the biggest sporting event in the world, and not use it?"

He says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Saints game
we haven't been to together since we got married in 1987."

"Oh ... I'm sorry to hear that.. That's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else, a friend or relative, or even a neighbor to take the seat?".

The man shakes his head. "No they're all at the funeral!"

Well, after watching that Monday night slaughter I will finally admit that this team is by far the best in the league. They're unstoppable at this point. The Pats were the toughest team on their schedule and they made Brady and Co. look like a bunch of girl scouts. I'll be honest and say I didn't think the Aints would blow out the Patsies after watching them struggle the past few weeks against inferior teams like the Rams, Jets and Dolphins. For crying out loud St. Louis put up a better fight than New England! I guess I'll never be able to figure this league out.
