I was wondering what other books offer Top 4 or Top 5 wagering in tourneys.
Also if you bet someone for Top 4 and there is a 3 way tie for 4th are the first 3 finishers paid at their full place odds, and then the 3 way tie paid at 1/3 odds?
Thanks.

C.P. Sia usually take place only,Betworld did but not sure after merge with Royal. However both paid 4 place and neither paid full odds on ties for 4th and it appears Oly does not either any more from Ian's post. On your other querry place divy's would apply to 4th position only however if there was 4 way tie for 2nd that would be included in divy I believe. Stan has much more coherant way of explaining what I'm trying to say, maybe he will elaborate.

Couchpotato, in a word, yes.

If there are five players tied for 3rd, then it is a dead heat between five players for the two places that the book will pay out on. So you get the 2/5 the odds.

I could go through an example, but here's a link instead ;)

As far as other books that pay place only the other one is Centrebet who don't take custom from American residents.

Given Bet365USA's willingness to gain a foothold in the North American market and their innovatory approach to betting, maybe an approach to them might be worthwhile. If they did it ... and they wouldn't be the only British firm to do so, though none of the others are online ... they would apply dead heat rules, but would pay out on 5 places.
