I get the 6 visit thing, I think.
Any visit after that and the pitcher must be changed.

How about the starter gets taken out after a 6th mound visit and then the reliever
needs a talking to by coaches...no visit allowed?

I also think the rule regarding position players coming over and talking to the pitcher
(which will now be ruled a mound visit)
will present a number of goofy grey area calls, similar to some of the BS calls we saw
in the NFL (thank Hendrix they're reverting that back to 'normal') or the silliness with
the NHL rule change regarding faceoffs and delay-of-game calls (happened several times
early this season...haven't seen it lately). Maybe not a big deal...not sure.

One thing I did notice is that--according to mlb.com's gameday feed--Orioles coaches
visited the mound to speak with closer Brad Brach 4 times before relieving him.
I wasn't watching and have to rely on the accuracy of the feed.
What gives here? Anybody know?
