O.K. guys who updates their NFL lines the quickest??? I heard Vegas Insider updates every 5-10 seconds and Don Best is every 2 minutes..Do the off shores move quicker as they handle all the 'large' plays these days it seems,the off shore have such higher limits I thought they would move their numbers VERY OFTEN and FAST...INPUT please guys,Spanky....

Good question, Spanky. Seems when there were fewer sports books around it was easier to spot the huge bets being placed. Now, so many lines you see are "clone" lines...that is, they all belong to one clearing house of sorts and all move their lines at the same time.
I for one would like to find a book putting up it's own line and then is slow to move it! But, I'm afraid those days are soon to be gone, if they aren't already. Canbet and Sportsinteraction (SIA) come to mind, but they have really sped up the movement of their lines...hard to say how they'll be this year.

There are certain people that hit several books as quick as possible to get down as much as they can at the number they want. The books they hit move their numbers and so do other books, without even taking a bet at that number, just because the big books moved. I hope this is what you were asking about. Good luck.

PMJ Thanks, yes I knew a "wiseguy" and I went to the islands once ane he knew they were 'small'-$500 MAX> He called me and I went downstairs in 30 seconds and made the play..He had a great week and it paid for 4 of us to go on the trip..They win and they lose, I just want to find a place that moves their numbers REALLY FAST when their $$$ comes in, because the public does not move the numbers the way these guys do...Thanks for the help...Spanky...
