Bama might be able to beat he G Strings but not the Jags:142smilie

NO NCAA team would EVER beat an NFL team. I'm sure it is on Goodell's future list of carnival stunts though.

Not even close.

Escpecially this bama team. 3 year ago bama with ingram and trent and that defense full of nfl stars, and they still lose by 20. Julio wouldn't of caught more then 3 balls....same talent with him, but less around him....ask greg jennings, justin blackmon, reggie wayne if ponder/painter/gabbert make a difference as far as their production. Julio was there best athlete and he woulda been nowhere to be found....

They always had this discussion with the 00 early USC teams....I think bama woulda whooped those SC teams

bama right now is not the best college team ever but Jacksonville could easily be the worst NFL team, early 80's Saints or 0-16 Tampa Bay come to mind. .:142smilie

CLEEEEAR!!

Back in the 50's, 60's and maybe 70's, they used to play a game of the College All Stars vs the Superbowl champ. Now, these numbers pulled out my ass because I heard this a while back, but they did this for like 20 years and the College All Stars won like twice, maybe 3 times Most games blowouts in the 1st half and then the NFL team would ease up in the 2nd.

So I would say Jacksonville -42 and O/U 48

Bob Succi from The Orleans sportsbook was on Chad Millman's podcast last week and this question came up. I believe he said Jax would be -13 or -14 or so, and Millman said -17 to -20.

I'd be curious where the action would be. I don't think Bama would sniff the end zone unless it was on a pick six.

doesn't say much for Jax to be such a little Fav over a Semi-Pro Team

Any pro team would smoke the best college team, no contest. They're pro NFL athletes for a reason. I'm really not sure what the line would be, but it wouldn't even be close.
