The overwhelming favorite is Tiger Woods. The changes to Augusta were not to "Tiger proof" the course as Charles Barkley claimed but to keep pace with all this new technology.By adding the extra yardage it helps players like Tiger who play a power game.Others like David Toms who play a straight consistent game...it almost eliminates there chances.

I am pulling for Sergio Garcia.I have bet him at 18 to 1 odds to win.Who do you think will win this years Master's?

I agree it is tiger's to lose, But there are a lot of people that should play well with the changes;
1.Phil mick
2.John Daly
3.V J Sing he should be in the top 5 on the first day
4.Greg Norman great long iron and short game
5.Charles Howell lll dark horse is very long
the par 5's will tell the story again this year.

:toast: :toast: If they would let john take a cooler on the corse he would have no problem.

If the O/U on The Striped One winning green jackets was 1.5 for the next four years, I'd take the Over.

Maybe Tiger will be missing in action this week, maybe Mickelson will finally break through, or maybe the golfing gods have a surprise in store, but my instincts tell me we are a few days away from at least two full months of talking heads on a Grand Slam vigil.

Righto --

He grew up around there and they say he broke 80 there the first time he played it when he was 10.

If you're looking for a "local fave" with long odds, this is your guy.

He's still out there at 50-1 if its all not off the board yet.

Well ( Hiccup ) I'm Pulling for ( Hiccup ) John Daly ( Slurred Speech ) He's My Hero!

He gave a speech at the Auburn Golf Club one year after playing 18 holes earlier in the day and having been on the hooch all day! Got up to the Podium to give his speech and his opening line was " Are all ya'll as F***ed up as I am?" Now that's a class act in my book!

What about it Hup! Are there any pools going around the course? Who are you playing with Saturday, I got Little Crush and we have got to be pre-tournament favorites. After I fire a smooth 66, all he needs to help is a couple of holes.

My Masters picks:

1} Tiger Woods
2} Olathabal
3} Vijay

Playing this afternoon, tomorrow at the Boro, so I will be ready come Saturday. Just bought tickets off the radio for the Predators last game tonight for $15 a piece. Giving away cars, trucks and motorcycles and plenty of BEER!

Taking Woods out of the picture, I am going with Jerry Kelly as my dark horse. He has not played well lately, but I think Augusta may be good to him.

Singh backers should be happy. One of the best rounds Ive ever seen at Augusta.New Course Record as far as the added length. But Saturday is "moving day" and there will be some low scores posted.Hopefully this weather will clear. Ive enjoyed the added length of the course. Its fun watching 5and 6irons into par 4's instead of wedges.

With the rain comes new life for some. The people who have to finish there fri round on sat will not be able to lift, clean and place. Because they say that would be an advantage over the players who already finished. :nono: I say this is BULLDOGSHIT .
No one in there right mind is going to tell me that hitting a golfball with an inch of mud on it is an advantage. This smells of some cornholeing to me. do you think V J would want to replay his round sat so he could L C and P.:nono: I don't think so.:moon:
