I also like the Hoosiers getting 8 points. If IU can hit the 3 point shot it will put a lot of pressure on Maryland's perimeter "D" and allow Jeffries to score from the inside. If the 3's aren't falling then Maryland will win going away.

USC Gamecock--

I know you were 2-0 this weekend. You seem to have a good feel for this year's NCAA Tourney (as opposed to the NIT) Keep up the good work. Go "Hoosiers.

Going with the Terps! They're on a mission.

It was a nice run for the Hoosiers, but I think its over............But then again I could be wrong.

Hammer,

I've taken a beating going for/against USC in the NIT. I never bet with my heart when USC is involved, I've just simply made bad calls regarding USC, no excuses here. I've seen USC play literally hundreds of times and have NEVER seen them destroy someone as bad as they did Ball State, and haven't seen them play as bad as they did against Memphis since they lost at home to Miss. St., oh well, live and learn.

The NCAAs have been much better, but tonight is gonna be interesting. Here is a "worthless fact" I heard on ESPN radio today(and no, it didn't factor into my decision on tonight's game):

Every NCAA champion since 1979 has had at least 1 McDoanld's all-american on their team. Tonight's tally:

Indiana 2 (or is it 3?)
Maryland 0

That fact along with 50 cents will get you a newspaper. Anyway, GLTA and let's hope the Hoosiers have one more in them.

One more fact--The Hammer is 0 for life in NCAA Tourney Championship games. It got so bad, last year I liked Duke but decided after years of losses to take the opposite for a small play. It didn't work. I took Duke laying about 10 versus UConn in 1999, and was also on the wrong side of Chris Webber's TO in 1993, among others.

Bottom line--I am on the Hoosiers for 1 unit.
