Raiders or Steelers??

My vote goes with Pittsburgh, who does the two most important things as good or better than anyone: run the ball and stop the run. The Raiders have allowed over 150 yds rushing in each of their last 3 games and a total of 624 in those games. That won't get it done in the playoffs.

I would vote the Raiders. I don't think you will be able to measure how valuable Rice is to this team by looking at his stats, especially in the playoffs. I also think the Raiders running game will do nothing but improve if Wheatley and Gardner both stay healthy. They also have one of the best kickers in the league.

However, the Steelers remind me alot of the Ravens from last year. They seem to get it done week in and week out. I really hope it is these two teams playing for the SB. Hoping for a bears/rams matchup in the NFC.

Don't forget about the Dolphins. If they are able to get their running game back into gear, they'll be a tough team to beat.

They have beaten themselves in their two losses to the NY Jets this year. St. Louis was clearly a better team, but I think Miami will go far in the playoffs.

I agree. I don't have any confidence in Feidler and Smith right now either.

But you have to believe that they'll turn things around offensively. Fiedler's role is not to win games by throwing for 300+ yards as is Gannon's, Garcia'a, Warner's and other passing QB's. His role is to not lose the game and I think he'll do that by not turning the ball over as much the rest of the season.

Miami's rush defense is not spectacular, but effective. It's their pass defense that will allow this team to win the AFC East. Upcoming games versus Denver, Indianapolis, San Francisco, New England, Atlanta and Buffalo. All of these teams throw the ball a ton. We'll see just how good this secondary is down the stretch.

I am rooting for a Miami-Oakland rematch in the playoffs. Hopefully in the AFC Championship Game!

I think Chicago is proving that run defense is more important than pass defens, just like Baltimore last year. Much of the pass yardage can be deceptive, since losing teams tend to pass more, and many NFL teams go into soft coverages in the 4th quarter, resulting in garbage yardage.

What about Tennessee, Denver and San Diego. They stop the run well, but get killed through the air.

Chicago will face serious problems if they face St. Louis. They got lucky to beat San Francisco. That was a gift, as was Cleveland. They are a fun team to watch right now, but they better get their secondary in shape. If not, it will be a quick exit in the playoffs.

Raiders have their problems stopping the run: 4.9 ypc against. Terrible. Look at Washington's turnaround: first 5 games 168.6 yds against; last 5 games: 81 yds rushing against.

Love to see so many Raider and Steeler fans here.

It is unfortunate that you'll all be upset come January when you see the Dolphins in New Orleans.

The Jets will be lucky to even make the playoffs. They still have games versus the Steelers and Raiders.

Steelers!!!!!

The best team in the AFC right now. Def. is very good. But the big thing is Stewert no turn-overs in last 150 attempts WOW that is unreal from this guy. Other teams defs put 8 man up on bettis and Stewert has to make the right choice and is getting it done.

Dolphins will make the playoffs with the 2nd ranked passing off. beleive that! But no running game will kill a team problem is the dolphins off line is in shambles. They are pluging in 3rd stringers and even called Russ Maryland out of retirement.

Best team steelers.

RAIDERS! Best all around team in NFL, they are weak in run D but that does not matter with Gannon, Rice, Brown & the deepest running game in the NFL. Oh, and some guy they call Chucky. Raiders/rams SB. HHE thats funny, I like I a guy with sense of humor.
