I just tuned in, to catch however much more he goes.
Just wondering how much of an illusion this pitching line is.
Perfect in his MLB debut, through 6. 84 pitches, so far, which is often more than a pitcher will throw in their first ever go.

Unless they let him toss 120+ pitches, he obviously won't get it.
I just want to see what he's got, catch the fans response when it (no-no) ends and see how this 26-year-old call-up is handling the situation. I notice opponents hit .396 off him during a dozen spring training innings. Don't mean shit, I guess.

Commentator just said Kingham pitch count at "79".
mlb dot com says '84'.

Are numbers/stats fun and reliable?

Pirates

Pirates

Three years ago when they had the best AAA team in baseball I knew in a few years they would all be called up . Kingham was right there with the best they had and then had Tommy John in 2016. I watch every pirate game and this kid throws strikes and has three quality pitches, fastball, the slider and a curveball. Comes from a good baseball family, and has a younger brother that throws for texas. The pirate should keep him as a starter, and put Steven Braught, in the bullpen as they need another lefty that?s crafty . They have a couple pitchers they could trade but they have two more top quality pictures and AAA right now in Holmes And Epply. If they continue to hit right-handed pitchers like they have all year 6.8 runs a game and Dickerson and Moran continue to help, pirates can be a big sleeper in the National league central . The problem right now is Palonco needs to move back to six or seven in the lineup and Dickerson needs to move up to second, as Palonco needs to see more fastballs and he will there. Pirates have a good bench Harrison will be back soon and freeze And Fraser are both good hitters. Only thing I see right now Pirates need is another seven or eight inning reliever . Was a great sweep of the Cardinals this weekend but now we go on the road for 12 days against Washington the Cubsand Milwaukee. And if we can play 500 will be in it till the all star break. Remember the Pirates are loaded in AAA and have the arms to deal to pick up another top end starter if they?re in it. Coming off a losing season I expect the Pirates to actually pick up an arm if they?re in it late this year which normally they do not do .
