In the history of baseball going back 100 plus years, has there EVER been a worse player than Caesar Izturis. The answer is a resounding NO NO NO. Watching this dodger team bat is like pulling teeth. Watching paint dry is more exciting.

Is there a player who has ever been worse than little Caesar as Vin calls him. The voting was tablulated by close to one million people in a recent survey.

WORST PLAYER EVER

63% Caesar Izturis
36% Darryl Ward
1% Alex Cora
.01% Adrian Beltre
.001% Willie Harris (Sox)

I think Green for the Dodger's in right field qualifies tonight. He has made 3 error's tonight and allowed most of the Padre's run's to score.............................PATHETIC to say the least

not sure what's happened to Green this year. Probably took a year off the roids. Brady Anderson did that and he was never the same. All players who suck should take steroids. HEAR THAT izturis. Maybe you could hit the ball to the outfield. You too Cora. That middle infield is a disgrace to baseball.

By the way Shawn Green, show some f..ing heart out there you pus. You single handedly are the most pathetic fu.ck ever. If you tried I wouldn't care, but you don't. Don't worry about the acne, start shooting up again. If not, this season will last forever.

wow, a meaningless home run green. Boy that was something, now try and make up for the other 5 runs you cost the team tonight. Lo Duca is the only player this team should keep besides the pen and starters. Otherwise, scrap it and start over. You haven't won a playoff game since 1988. We can wait a few more years...............

For some reason Green has had a hitch in his swing all season, and a hitch makes you have a long swing, if he would go into film room and watch he could see it, i watch them almost every night his hips open way to early and bat is still behind the hitting zone. at contact you want to be belly to belly with pitcher then rotate hips to brings hands through the ball that is where the power is short and to the ball, he has a major loop. he is not trusting his hands to do the work he is useing hips first and front shoulder flys open which cuts power down by a 3rd in most people and will never hit a slider throwen low and breaking into back leg noe if it is left out over plate he will catch it with the long swing get it up and might get it out but more long flys to waring track, needs to watch film and work with tee in cage. That is a major problem and till he fixes it he won't drive the ball like he should and pitchers know it. If i see it then advance scouts have seen it also and goes right down on pitching report for next series for the team they are going to play. power is speed not strength so if you have a long swing slows bat speed down and you lose power.

Good stuff Fletcher, If I decide to play on these guy's again maybe we should send Green a fax,and straighten his butt out. You make excellent point's, I wonder why his hitting coach doesn't see it? The other thing that I don't understand is his obvious lack of hustle and effort. He's made 3 bad play's in the field tonight.

That is called taking your hitting to the field with you happens when you are not doing what you know you can do. once you ab is over if you hit a hr or struck out it is done over with and nothing you can do to chage what happened , you go out forget it and play deff. but to many guys carry it over. The worse thing to do in a slump or off month is to think he has not forgot how to hit none of them have that go throught this but thinking kills your nature instincs to react to the ball and from there it is all down hill and bad habits start to happen, you are a great baseball player in pro ball if you get a hit 3 out of every 10 at bats so that means 70% of the time you fail at task , so you must be strong in the mind, failing 70% of the time in baseball can make you millions if you can do it for a few years in a row.
