Can not think of a single reason... perception kills in this game & who most think they are, is not even close to the team that took the court -vs- Kansas last yr.... holmam 6'10" -260, 25 min GONE....foster nice guard, 21 min, GONE... lowe 31 min, GONE .....simon , 31 min, 6'7" swing man, GONE ..... I bought in early and played det +3 -vs- STJ, lucky to get that push.... 5 nice pieces back for BG, a team that beat the "BETTER" Titans last yr... NOTE : DET 2-2... 0-3 ATS ..... BOOKS LOVE PERCETION ..... TAKE THE POINTS ..... PLays : BG +4 ...... & ...... INDY -10...... 10 pts looks to high ... who's smarter , you or the lines maker ?????? do not follow the money on this one.....

You could be right but I'll give you three reasons while conceding that you make good points about Simon and Lowe.

Minnerath is back after missing nearly all of last season. he has good size and is equally effective inside and out.

McCallum is an outstanding young guard and he is a better player than last season and will continue to improve

Holman was a cancer that often hurt this team more than he helped them. He never came close to living up to being the player that Indiana thought they recruited

you follow this team closer than I.... jumped on them last yr at the end and went 3 of 4 ats , almost 4 OF 4..... Holman a cancer, not down the stretch.... great chemistry with the rest of the guys that are no longer there.... I can't tell you why this team has under preformed to this point but they are what they are... I'm not going to see something that is not there... sometimes when you are close, you are to close to see... have had a hot hand, just looking to ride it, with these plays.... hope I don't blow it... haven't had a nice run on this site in many mooooons ...
