Why did the Was/Atl line just move another full point?

I know it's been trending one way all day, but I just got in on Washington at +7.5 and then saw that it jumped to 8.5 within a few minutes. Is someone out?

Wizards PG John Wall is OUT for tonight's Game 2 vs. the Hawks (8 PM ET on TNT).

Fuckin knew it. Just like the Clips game last night. Which I won on, but still. Would have been nice to have that info so I could have gotten a way better line if I still liked Wash. Damn.

I'm just as shocked as anyone else. Not feeling so great about my Wizards bet now. I had heard his hand was swollen, but that he would play with it wrapped. And this was tweeted less than an hour ago by the Hawks beat writer:

Wizards coach Randy Wittman said everyone is available.

FWIW: The Wizards list no injuries on the pregame report. #ATLHawks

WTF

That injured player theory man... it's not just a fluke in the NBA that teams step up when their key player is out. I can't say I was all that surprised by that Clips win last night. Glad you cashed. I think that the Wizards can still give the Hawks a tough time tonight, although Sessions isn't exactly the ideal backup point guard.

Ramon Sessions will start at point guard on Tuesday with John Wall (wrist) unable to play.
Garrett Temple will be Sessions' primary backup and Washington may opt to activate Will Bynum. Sessions is the guy to target for temporary value and Bradley Beal should also handle the ball more, assuming his sprained ankle holds up. Sessions started 10 games this season and averaged 10.2 points, 0.8 threes, 3.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 0.2 steals... (rotoworld)

Hope you're right Deezy. I have a pretty big play on the Wiz. And the ML which really seems poor right now. Either way, wish I'd waited five minutes to get the (much) better line.

In any event thanks for the quick info.
