Why don't more teams replicate Patriot offense?

I don't get it.....the offensive scheme they run just dominates. Swing passes underneath all day long 8-9 yards on 1st down over and over like a broken record. Wears down defenses then get bombed by the big play. Many teams have capable players like Lewis and White to do this. More teams should run their type offense. You don't need a Brady to run this offense

I was thinking the same thing watching tonights game. Brady gets rid of the ball so fast but its not like they have such great wide receivers and backs. Gronk is another story but I am not sure why other teams can't at least do the same stuff these Pats do. Maybe these other teams try to get the super fast wr's who can stretch the field........and the answer is to get the guys who have sure hands and can consistently get the 8 yd catches.........it keeps the QB from having to hold on to the ball which limits sacks and the short passes limit mistakes. Maybe the only thing speed kills is your QB and your turnovers will increase.

I've wondered the same thing for years. Hoping Mike McCarthy would be paying attention to Patriot games!

Your right Hud, but having a Brady sure does help. In a game where split seconds mean everything his experience, awareness, and moxie allow him to get the ball to the right person in the minimum amount of time. Like you said or implied, they dink and dank you to death on offense but can also hit you with a big one if you concentrate too much on the other. On defense they take away what you do best and dare you to do something about it. Also, or especially have to give credit to the coaches and/or the organization. They get just the guys they need, one way or the other, to do what they want to do. But having a Brady sure does help.

I agree with the Brady thing guess I shouldn't have said that........but, if you have a capable QB you can run this offense pretty damn close. I think the Saints have the best personal to run their offense right now with Brees. They actually are pretty damn close to it Brees notorious for throwing passes underneath letting RB's WR's gain the yards and with Kamara now they have that Deon Lewis type player

People forget Julian Edelman was lost in the first quarter of the first game this season. Far and away he is Brady's favorite target, and the rapport they built was instrumental in moving on from The Moss/Welker offense. Losing Julian Edelman for the entire year, has forced Brady to grow and utilize Cooks, Hogan, James White, etc. Dion Lewis did not really come back from his knee reconstruction until week six or seven and gave the offense a real lift. It's hard to believe but Brady and the patriots will be much more versatile next season when Julian Edelman returns. He is a 100 catch guy, that place that slot receiver better than anyone in the NFL.
