Decided to open a very small account there to try out their software. Had heard a few bad whispers but as always, had to see for myself. Made a few bucks (literally) and decided to close it out.

Was told that you cannot withdraw the cents from your account. Conversation ensued along the lines of the following:

-----------
Why cant I close my account for the full amount?

Sir, I'm sorry but our software is not built to handle cents.

What happens the the leftovers if I want to close my account?

It is left in your account for a period of time then zeroed out.

Zeroed out? You mean you keep the cents from all your customers that close accounts?

Sir if its a big deal we can round your account up.
-----------

I know I may be making a mountain our of a mollhill, but there are too many other books out there that deserve my/our business, VIP is not one of them

I did. So far, nothing.

However, should it really come to this? How many people would go through the trouble and would just give them the 80 cents?

I would rather not have a book that does this.

Yeah, why shouldnt they have software that allows you to Paypal out the cents? Never encountered this before, is it just a given that you cant take them out? Seems like I shouldnt have to piss and moan about getting it rounded up.

I like VIP, the customer service is very quick, by email, and even have on online chat feature which is very good.

have not phoned them yet. deposited twice small accounts no problem in getting paid. with paypal or fedex.

as for the problem, what problem they have offered to round up your account. do not understand.

as for me I ussually leave a small amount after a withdrawal, their software allow parlays as low as $5 and straight wagers as low as $10. also you can put a total of $5.55 for a parlay and the software will except it.

my experience is different from yours as I consider VIP one of the better books I have dealt with.

thanks

If not gettin' reimbursed your change, ya might want to think about picking up another hobby. I'd say if this is VIP's biggest downfall, then they should remain one of the better books around.

And yeah, I know it's just the "point" of it all, but I honestly consider the "point" stupid and pointless. Trust me on this one, if you're gettin' your panties in a wod over some loose change, then I'll bet ya .50 cents that they'll be more than willing to send you on your merry ole way....
