Why is everyone on Jax?

I don't understand this. Chicago is still fighting for the division title plus a first round bye. Not to mention they don't have home field locked up yet. They are one of the few teams playing for anything substantial today and therefore should not be letting up. They are the better team, with a better defense, and they're playing in their own house in bad weather.

Why the HELL would anyone take Jacksonville?

My guess is because Jaxonville has played well recently. Stacy Mack has had 3 consecutive 100 yard games. Chicago isn't known to put up too many points, thus making the case for a close victory. Tom Coughlin may have added pressure cause of Steve Spurrier breathing down his neck.

To me, Chicago is the play. My line is at -4 1/2.

Jacksonville has covered only six games all season,but four of them have been as a road dog.Believe it or not,they perform well in this spot this season.Chicago is 3-1-1 as a home fav.Also,there might be an enlarged adams apple in their collective throats for them to choke on today,due to the division title considerations you mentioned,which the Chicago media has been pounding them about all week you can be sure.Lastly,Jacks has covered the only two previous meetings.GL

Lets see, Jax is getting on a plane to go to sub freezing temps to play a game that means nothing to them against one of the best D's in the league. Not to mention they will probably use this game to evaluate talent in their younger players. Just cant see them putting a whole lot of heart into this one.
