Why is everyone on the Tenn Titans?

I am not sure why people love the titans this week.

Chris Johnson ran all over the Texans maybe the worst run defense in NFL.

They miss haynesworth bigtime. Their pass defense is very suspect. Rothleisberger & Schaub both torched their secondary.

I'm not ready to crown the Jets champs yet, but this team is for real. These guys have not allowed an offensive TD to two very high powered offenses. They kept Texans out of the red zone the whole game. They completely shutdown Andre Johnson in week 1 & Randy Moss in week 2. Revis is a great shut down corner.

Sanchez is the real deal. Like most USC players, not named Lienart or Bush, Pete Carroll has these guys prepped to play in the NFL. the Jets O line is one of the best in the NFL. They have a good running game. He is every bit as good as Flacco & Ryan were at this time last year.

The more I look at this game, the more I like the Jets. Other than, they're due or it's a must win & Fisher is a great coach, why does it seem like everyone loves the Titans?

Somebody talk me out of the Jets -3!!

not trying to talk you out of it.....but,this will be the first "real" running game the jets have seen this season.....we really don`t know what kind of run defense the jets actually have....and i really like tennessee`s 1/2 punch r.b. duo vs a gambling,blitzing defense like ryan likes to play...i see fisher using screens and quick reads to try and take advantage of the jets "hell bent for leather" gambling style defense....

neither team has much in the way of receiving threats,so i really don`t see tennessee getting burned through the air like they did vs the texans...no andre johnson`s on the jets...

the jets are playing well,but,i see a close hotly contested ballgame....and in games like this,i prefer the veteran team with the veteran qb and h.c......the team that has it`s back against the wall....

don`t have 10 year old stats or trends,but,i`ve never ever liked the jets as home faves...

leon washington does scare the hell out of me,though....a big play or a mistake or two may decide this slugfest...

i`ll take the meager points and the more veteran group...and strangely enough,i like the fact that this is in n.y. and not tennessee.....

of course,i`m not doing well in the hippo contest,so fading me might just be a plan worth implementing...:shrug:

The Titans were game as many of you called in this forum, but anybody who doesn't think the JETS are for real is crazy. They won the turnover battle and that Defense is as good as any defense I seen in a while.

Sanchez shows poise for a rookie. He doesn't have to win the game, just not lose it.

I think this is the last game that we get any value on the Jets line.

if you check my earlier reply posts about the JETS and the hippo kramer contest in which i took them as a DOUBLE pick I WARNED this team is for REAL and they will struggle but nonetheless will play tough AND MAY WIN OR COVER all season long as long as VEGAS and JOE PUBLIC puts 'em down
