Why is Vegas not moving the patriots line?

I was listening to Cowherd today and he said that the mgm grand in Vegas is reporting 92 percent of its bettors taking New England. I?ve always understood that Vegas doesn?t want one side of the line much heavier than the other. If that?s the case then why aren?t they moving the line to try and balance out the risk?

This is a legitimate question by the way

On the course!
-3 puts them in a bad spot.

They will eventually have to move, but when they do, the sharps will hammer the Rams.

I would have thought they would adjust the price on NE.

With the number three it is the most important number in NFL football. So the reason they?re not putting it on three should tell you what side to be on.

Jeff Sherman at the Westgate said today that the line would more likely close at 1.5 than at 3

ask a legit question u will always get a legit answer from me luke.
The real line is NE PK so they moved it the way of the money but it SHOULD fall back sooner or later closer to the real line...ergo NE-1 or so...

The dude that said the sharps would pound it if they moved the line up to a 3 wasn't really far off except the sharps have already pounded the RAMS and bought it up to over a 3 along time ago..like the first day it moved to a -2...LOL Bookies that make lines ON THE NUMBER. Take a risk in getting SIDED meaning if the game falls on THE NUMER they lose all the bets on the team at -2.5 and under AND all the bets on the team at +3.5 and that's a books nightmare...
You know my feelings on this SB... it looks like a 3 point game to me...either side could win so buy it up to 3.5 and I'll see at the pickup window bro....GL on your action Luke

Every sportsbook manager who has given an interview, states that there has been almost nothing bet on the Rams.

With kickoff 1 week away
@Jay_Rood
and
@MGMRaceSports
are still waiting on that Rams money...

67% of point spread tix on Patriots...
89% of point spread money on Patriots...( 7 figure pool )

5 figure wagers
Patriots 14
Rams 0

Patriots -2.5 56.5 -140

Any other questions?

I've talked to 2 online books and they are way overloaded with Pats bets.

I don't think betting the Pats is easy money at all.

It's Rams or nothing for me.

And based on the numbers from the regular season, the Rams should be the slight fave.

The public sees a team who is lucky to be there (Rams), and a team who is there every year (Pats).

I'm going to dump $500 in a book, and bet props!

Westgate Superbook 1/30

76% of the tickets written on the Patriots and also 80% of the cash, but it was a lot worse a few days ago with both at around 90%.

On the total, 56% of the tickets written have come on the Over, but 85% of the cash is on the Under.

If you think vegas always wants 50-50 action on every game you should take up another hobby.

There are always games that are loaded on one side and vegas is fine with it.

There is 0 chance this game hits 3.5
There is little chance this game hits 3 (and if it does it will be heavily juiced)

It's the way it goes with a spread between two either way
