I fear the Pens will win this series on thursday and I base that on my life experience in the world of sports. First of all, my favorite teams are the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Pirates, and the NY Knicks. I have not seen one of "my" teams win since 1979, pirates. Everyone knows the Bills are 0 for 4 in the super bowl, music city miracle most recently. The sabres 0 for 2 in the Cup, a goal went through the net in last years playoffs. The pirates got to the NL championship game three times in the 90's, went 0 for 3 getting to the world series, one year Carmello Martiniz missed a Homer by 6 inches against the Reds then there was that Francisco Caberra thing against the Braves. Sid Bream scores from second in a wheelchair as my star left feilder Barry Bonds three hops it to home. My favorite player growing up as a kid, OJ Simpson commits a double murder on my Birthday no less, June 12th then he goes on a drive down the freeway during the Knicks Championship game in which John Starks goes 2 for 18 and we lose to Houston. They came back to lose again to San Antonio a few years later. And I will always hate the Chicago Bulls. Last night the puck drops from the sky in front of Hasek who doesn't see it with 1:18 left on the clock. I have been gutted again I fear. How many times can a man puke blood, How many times must I listen to my wife say "it is ONLY a game" I Know what is coming Thursday. I've seen it over and over, my life of sports is not meant to have any fulfillment. Sportswise, I am an emotional and mental wreck. I tell you this so you my friends who have been so kind to me with your insights and perceptions, helping me to win money. Use me as a reason to bet on the Pens this Thursday. With a 1:30 left in last night game I made the mortal mistake of wondering who Buffalo would play next, Toronto or New Jersey, I have cursed myself and the Sabres. I will not bet on Pittsburgh but I bet you can. boo hoo hoo

Tried to tell you guys it would be the Pens. Next phase is the teams I root for lose the next round so my friends, fade the teams I am rooting for, St. Louis and Pittsburgh. Its the Avalanch and Devils in the Stanley Cup, bummer
