WHY pay like $1000 or more for new cell phone

Was talking to aquaintnce and i just shook my head i phone 13 costing him like $1300 with payments every month

I just got a very Good i phone 8 regular last week from walmart delivered on sat 2 days for $145 and the case i had on old i phone 7 fits saving me $11

even tho i can afford new one im too smart to buy 1 $1300 i could make 6 casino trips to play craps on $15 min table and win MONNNEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

i could understand if they worked better than refurbished old i phone but they dont only thing is the screens are larger so if using gps to get to a location that would be better

but my new i phone 8 same screen size as old i phone 7 ans thick ness was able to use the same water tight case and saved $11 :SIB
