THe public is leaning towards the rams as the line is up to 6.5 many places. So the average player is backing the rams NOT the saints. Everyone is stressing the revenge factor, but wasn't that supposed to help the rams to victory the last time these two teams met. The fact of the matter is that the saints will be up for this game and up for it big time. The way things are shaping up in the west makes this almost a must win for the saints. Rams on the otherhand will give it their all in this game but once again that will not be enough.
Saints win outright, the line is a gift
The linesmakers set the lines knowing how the public will react to them. And by setting it at 6 they trick the public into thinking the rams will be easy winners. It has worked as the public is on the rams so it should be a winning night in Vegas for the linesmakers. Sports Gambling isn't a multi-billion dollar business for nothing, it's partly because the linesmakers know how to manipulate the public.

The rams are not all that, and they will not win the superbowl this year as I look for either the eagles or bears to upset them.
And this will enable pittsburgh to win the crown, it is truly their year. Stewart is amazingly the best player in the league right now, no joke. We always knew he could run, but now he is passing the ball beautifully and they have a great O-line.

Is it a Trick or Treat?? The minus 6. I am from New Orleans and the hatred these two teams have for each other is unreal. Please keep in mind that the last time these two teams met Marshal Faulk did not play. The Saints "D" is not of the past. I think the Rams had 6 or 7 turnovers last game. If the Rams don't turn the ball over its Bad news for the Saints. Not to mention the Saints are 1-5 ATS on Monday Night. So you can look at it like this. If the Rams turn the ball over like they did in the earlier match-up then the -6 could be a Trick. However, if the Rams just average half the turnovers then the -6 is a Treat.

Just my opinion if the Rams can hang on to the ball then it will be a ROUTE IN THE BIG EASY.

I wouldn't bet my house on anything. I'm out of town until after bowl season, so I'm rolling over my figure with my bookie until then. I know how dangerous it can be to not settle up with your bookie for an extended period of time, especially over bowl season, so for the next week or so my wagers will be half of what they usually are. Good luck if you bet the rams, but i'm on the saints I think their dominance will continue in mon nights close match up

If you like the Saints, why not take the Money Line instead?. All Monday Nite Winners have covered the spread except Dallas (against Redskin). Look for that trend to continue tonite. If you want my opinion from a capper point of view, then it would be the Saints. I bet you 9 out of 10 cappers will say 1/There's value in MN Home Dogs. 2/ Saints have Rams number. And yes, Vegas opened the Rams as -6 favorite?. Are they inviting us to take the Home Dog?. I dont know, but I aint bite it!!! Its funny and make me wanna choke, cause last week Rams was only -7.5 over the Niners.

Good idea, what the hell, i will take the moneyline. Saints are a good bargain considering they have a very good chance of winning this game outright. And DRY1 you've got a lot to learn, I hope you're not actually betting, if so don't quit your day job buddy.

TRUE PLAYER signing off,
Don't think too much and overanalyze games, it's all about instinct, some of us have it and some are just born losers who have to work extra hard just to break even. To all those players out there, run with it, to others you might want to hang up the phone and try playin the stock market or something.
The luck is not about the way the ball bounces, it's about what makes you, in your head, decide to bet on one side or the other, and that is instinct.

WELL SAID couldn't agree more betting is all about instinct. Stats are stats unpredicatable, and people that number crunch always lose in the long run. It's totaly instinct, what determines a winner is the ability to ingore public perception and bet on his instinct, which you did correctly on the SAINTS tonight, I'm taking them on the money line too.
