When I first found this site I really thought I hit the jackpot. Alot of really great info and feedback about one of my favorite activities; Sports betting. More and more I have noticed alot of guys really are negative in here. If someone posts something in here there is no reason to trash them. It seems to happen alot and I think it brings this place down. I know I don't come in here to be dogged, and would never do that to someone else. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this?

Was at wagertrash earlier and noted that Madjack's was mentioned several times as a great place to get information, so I would expect the bashing to get worse before it gets better.
Just keep giving good info, any info, and ignore the flame threads and everything will be fine.

thrashing is banned at mjs until after the superbowl, when all hell breaks loose as we all try to adjust to life after the nfl, become more homey and usually end up knocking up our better halves. it is a fact that is the reason why most babies are born late in the year.

I hear what your saying Cryboy. But anyone who has ever read my picks this year, knows when I say Guarantee or lock, you could take the other side to the bank. I will refrain from that terminology in the future. I wasn't just talking about trashing in my thread, I have seen it alot lately.

Personally, I think that 99% of the trashing comes from newer players who just haven't figured out (yet) how hard it really is to make any money in this business. Everyone has a tendency to WANT to believe the guy who says he has a lock and when the realization hits that there are no locks it's kind of like learning the truth about Santa Claus. Then there are the times when a good capper has a bad day, but some newbie has loaded up on his picks for whatever reason and bores a clean hole right through the center of his/her bankroll, then searches around desparately for someone to blame for the debacle.
Inexperience for the most part. Sometimes I do think it is malicious intent on the part of MJ's rivals. MJ has done a good job of ferreting those types out of here though.

This forum has consistantly been the best of all handicapping sites because the trash talk is kept to a minimum. The monitors know the tendencies and credibility of the posters here and act accordingly. There will always be the fair share of smart asses - that is the nature of this game. It is just held in check here better than elsewhere.
I live by this rule....It's my job to evaluate the information( and there is a lot of good information here at madjacks). So I feel the need not to bash anybody cause it is my job to anyalise the information. I call the bookie or put the bets in myself online so it's up to me on what info I have.....This site is free and take it for that...give the info that you think is helpful and make your own opionins what what info is helpful to you. Considering the nature of gambling and emotions involved and the vast size of this site I think they have done an unbelievable job of keeping the BS at a minimum.
