Take a listen to the cockpit voice recorder, un-fucking believable:facepalm:

Oh and it didn't help that the Captain (and co-pilot) had no idea how to fly the plane, they had multiple opportunities to save the plane, but fucked that up. Of course it all started with the kids in the cockpit.

This flight crew was trained by Roger Murdock.

YouTube has a good series called MayDay Air Disasters. There was a two part episode dedicated to this fuck up.

That is not a YouTube series it is a Canadian documentary television series called Mayday (produced by Cineflix). There have been 200 episodes since 2003 (episode 200 aired in February and was about the helicopter crash involving Kobe Bryant).

The episode that deals with this crash was titled "Kid in the Cockpit" and it aired on the 9th of November 2005 (Episode Number 22).

Note: Outside of Canada the series goes by the name Air Crash Investigation(s), Air Emergency or Air Disasters. In the USA you can usually find it on Smithsonian Channel or National Geographic Channel. Or can watch some of them on youtube (the old ones) as WhatsHisNuts mentioned.

I have watched all 200 episodes, so if somebody on here is in a plane, helicopter, or train that is about to crash, send me a message and I'll help you out of the jam you are in:lol:

If anybody on here has the tiny bit of an interest in airplanes you'll enjoy all 200 episodes, they are well done.

As mentioned above this might very well be the biggest fuck up in aviation history, it is top 3 for sure.

Imagine be unlucky enough to be on this flight, fuck:facepalm:
