I sometimes make this bet. In the past I used Gameday and they grade this wager after the 1st inning is over. I made a wager with nine.com and was told that the 1st inning prop would be graded after the 5th inning since they have to make sure the game is official So basically I could bet that a run won't be scored in the first inning, have no runs scored in the first, and assume I won the bet. If the skies break open and the game is canceled in the 4th inning I would get no action/push, even though the bet says a run can't be scored in the 1st inning. I won my wager but wanted a clearer explanation of this rule. I spoke with a member of nine.coms prop department who explained it to me, but it was still confusing. Without asking or me giving the rep a hard time, the manager of the prop department wanted to speak with me. The manager explained that the game needs to be official in order for the 1st inning bet to count. He was clearer to understand and acknowledged that some of the other books grade it after the 1st, but nine.com requires the game to be official. He even extended his services anytime I had a question about a prop bet, which was nice. The bottom line here is check with the book before hand to see how they handle this bet. Again, with Gameday it was graded right after the 1st inning and was a good bet if you wanted a quickie bet before a 7:30 or 8:00 game. Anyone else have a similar issue with other books? If you bet this option has it been profitable or depleting?
