philly in a blow out against alt, come in the superbowl as 4-5 point spead dog in the superbowl. afc will win superbowl.

if my thread start out as a racist statement, madjack will ban me, nfl will prevent black qb or coaches to win it all year after year. therefore i already made my pick for the superbowl.

Doug Williams, Washington Redskins, 1988. Anyone remember him? Probably not. He was a black QB, he won a Superbowl. In fact, he was the game's MVP. And he did it against John Elway's Broncos. What happened to the conspiracy? One of the most popular (not to mention white) QB's in the game, getting thoroughly whipped 42-10 by the 'Skins and their black QB. Hardly anyone seems to remember this. It's not like it's impossible, so you may as well put the conspiracy theories to rest.

And considering that up until the past 7 or 8 years or so there were virtually no black QB's in the league, it's not surprising no other black QB has won the big game. It's just numbers. There are more black QB's now....so I have no doubt there will be more black QB's who are Superbowl champions too in the not-too-distant future.

To me this is very much like the "no dome team can ever win a Superbowl" theory, but along racial lines. But when you've only got 3 or 4 teams playing in domes...well, your odds are about 3 or 4 out of 32 of getting a dome team as a champion. St Louis finally won one for the domers, and that theory died along with it....

I remember that Super Bowl like it was yesterday.
My biggest day in sports betting ever. Elway threw a TD pass on the first play from scrimmage and they were actually laughing and giggling. Then Williams threw 5 TD passes in the 2nd QTR.
What a great quarterback he was that day.
Not only that but he is a good man and a great human being.

I never knew Williams threw 5 TD's in the 2nd quarter...that is outstanding...let alone getting 5 possesions in a quarter is tough, but 5 PASSING TD's is ridiculous

Isn't it odd how the libs are constantly screaming racism this and racism that and are supposedly fighting the so-called good fight for racial equality, however, these same libs are the ones who constantly point out to us idiotic things like "This years NFC Championship game is between two african american QB's".

The rest of America knows the participants of the NFC Championship game by their sir names...McNabb and Vick...why must they constantly remind us that there are indeed differences ie...Black and White players?

Why can't the NFC Championship game be about the Eagles versus the falcons? Why can't this game be about a predominant falcon running team versus a predominant Eagles passing team?

SIMPLE....Its all about selling newspapers. magazines and hype, in other words the libs in the media HAVE to have something to talk about, its just really odd to me how they can scream for racial equality out of one side of their mouths while constantly pointing out to us that we are all different out of the other side of their mouths.

With that said, I think the Eagles with McNabb will win out by 10 to 14 points over the falcons and proceed to the first ever "Pennsylvania Bowl"....afterall the talking heads in the media need to have SOMETHING to talk about right?

Interesting that you guy bring up black qb win it all.... if you go back through all the bowl games this year, all the team with balck qb either lost SU or ATS.
