I don't know if anyone here uses this book....
This is to all people who have a betting account with willhill.com.
A few weeks ago I placed an AFL handicap bet on the site (Richmond +27.5). I was alerted by a friend a day or so later that although we took this bet at +27.5, it had changed to +26.5 in our open bets in our accounts.
Obviously this is unacceptable. We contacted willhill.com and were assured it was a computer error, the +27.5 would be re-instated and it would never happen again.
So, imagine my horror then when I placed an NFL handicap bet yesterday (UNDER 47), only to find that within 48 hours the handicap had changed to UNDER 46?.and so had my open bet!!!!
I find it impossible to believe that I am the only person this is happening to.
In a perfect world I would like everyone to close their willhill.com account and never bet there again, but I know this is very unlikely.
I do, however, urge everyone to check their ?open bets? before the event to ensure the conditions in which the bet was placed have not changed.
I would hate to think anyone has lost money due to this account ?tampering?.
