Also got a Monday play:

Not as confident in Starkhovsky to win the whole thing as you but I do like him Tuesday:

That Stosur price looks pretty tasty, I may have to get some of that...

I am sure you are a little nervous about your Fed future play. That type of play isn't going to cut it.

Benneteau down 2 sets to none.
:0047

Sad thing is he had a 6-4 lead in tiebreak and lost 4 straight points.

Gonna need a Fed like comeback.

Julien must have still been on France time. :142smilie

He takes the 3rd 6-1 and is up 3-1 in the 4th.
Anything Fed can do, Ben can do better.

James Blake rips into Pam Shriver multiply times for talking during match.
I can't stand Pam Shriver and instead of apologizing she tells Blake he should concentrate more.

Blake should have refused to play until they tossed her.
She has no right to talk and talk loudly during someones match.
I had noticed this during the French and wondered he she could talk so loud and players not hear her considering where she was located.
I just chalked it up to increased mic volume.

I have met Blake a couple times and played him once. He is nothing but class and a very nice guy.

BUT

In this case he is wrong. Blake is one of the dumbest players in the men's game. He plays like a chick. Nothing but power, and no brains. When he's on, he is amazing. When things don't go well he sucks. He never changes his game, never. Another horrible loss at a Grand Slam. Losing to Hasse the way he did is bad, very bad. If he is blaming someone for talking then he is dumber on the court then I thought.

He knows better.:nono:

And I can tell you this, when you play in the "minor leagues" you have to deal with way more then someone talking. James has been there, come on James, you know better dude.

For what its worth Shriver is a great analyst. Unlike many sports analysts she will rip the shit out of players for dumb shit. She tells it like it is. Oh and she is one of the very few retired female pros that knows just how much better the men are.

He was already flaming long before the Shriver incident so his frustration was very high to begin with.
I am sure he decided to take it out on her.

Don't tell me you have never wondered how players can't hear her at times sitting courtside talking up a storm during play.

Shriver still should have said sorry. Like it or not, he clearly could hear her and she offered ZERO apology.

For the record...she did say she was sorry for yelling back at Blake.

But trust me when I tell you, 90 out of 100 players would side with Shriver.

I am not one to talk, I did some bad shit on the court, but I would never tell someone who is covering my match to "shut up and stop being an ass". All she was doing was talking. It really isn't that bad. And not like she was talking on her cell phone. She was COVERING HIS MATCH for fucks sake.

But as I said, Blake is a good guy and I am sure now he feels bad. And as I said, Blake is one of the dumbest men's players out there. He just refuses to change his game when things go bad. All the players know this. You get on him early and he doesn't adapt. Power, Power, and more Power, that is how Blake plays when he's down. Although when he is on....look the fuck out:scared
