Sorry, got a bunch.

I think opening rounds are great parlay plays which is why I got so many picks. Putting solid chalk (no cwazy odds though) with a value play like a slight favorite or dog is the way to go. I usually start off with 4 or 5 teamers to get the ball rolling. You know about that, right? Like this stuff ->

Yeah, i've been there too.

Here goes :
Tomic +115: Fading Querry when he's favored works PLENTY of times, been there and done that, and I think this may be another one of them times.

Seppi 230: Steady he goes.

Isner -350: He should at least get through a round or 3 before hitting the exit. I'm really interested in him when the U.S. Open comes to town. Odds look like a bit of a gift but still NOT single play range.

Garcia-Lopez: Seasoned grass cutter vs. who(?). This one may be shakey cause I don't know a thing about Brown.

Verdasco/Malisse -OVER 40: Bring yer lunch with these two are on the courts.

Tipsarevic -235: Wierdo, looked very good in France. Actually, I shouldn't critisize this guy - get rid of the bling, beard, and a few of the wacko tatoos and tellya.. HE'S NO WIERDO. Ever see his Mrs.? She's a L@@Ker alright. This surface ain't his best, but he just out-classes his opponent on this surface and ESP. at these "Big Time" events.

Montanes OVER:... whatever the line is.

Robredo -295: How bout this guy? Didn't check his record lately (hell, it's too long to go through), but I'm sure he knows his way around London very well and I expect him to be hitting the turf in stride given his current form. I used to use his talent a long while back and it is something else to see him doing so well in his advanced years. He's had physical problems along the way as well.

Julia Goerges -215: best bet of the day. Grass is her game and she's a steady player that you can trust will bring her game. She knocked out Radwanska, who was seeded no. 2, on this surface and I think the odds are acceptable. Her opponent ain't poopies and I'm expecting her to find an early exit like she did the last time at Wimbledon.

Good Luck, guys.. and you too Kicker.. LOL (only kidding).

Sheesh!

Sheesh!

Not ANYMORE... NOW, you are where you wanna be, KS :)

I didn't know there was a Master Wimb. thread. Now how can I get this thang to NOT move up the ladder? Maybe Kickserv can show us so we don't interfere? Actually, I really wish there was a way cause I do like to comment on the matches right after they get played but I ain't a bossman wannabe or look like one like some folks. If a post does well, MJers will find it; it doesn't have to pop to the top.

Enough of the baby talk.. let's git down to business - gettin dat cash!

I just posted the matches I think I can beat and I guess most MJ tennis fans will just see how I did and maybe I can help out IF I do well. Actually, I ain't new here; don't know if anybody can check the archives (ya gotta go back a few years, like maybee 5 (EGAD!).. same avatar, same name.

Forget the pissing contests, I won't even address them.. but helping each other post wieners is what I HOPE this forum is all about. If not, that's cool, I'll just ignore the bastages :00x7

I think Tennis Tapir is right on with his parlay ideas for the first/early rounds so let's see...
I got 7 picks and one BESTEST bet. Just a couple of ideas -

- Could play a 4 teamer AND a 3 teamer that doesn't include the BB (Goerges) AND a single, straight play on the BB with enough moola to come out either even if the parlays don't hit .. OR ... some extra dough on the BB and come out ahead if she is your/my only wiener. You still got a shot at cleaning up if even just one of the parlays hit and she wins.

- could make a riskier play and just make two 4 teamers with Goerges on each one. You have to throw out one of the picks though.

Hell, doesn't need to be my picks to do this stuff. For me, I'm gonna take option no. 1 and hope the line on the BB (-215) isn't going against me right now. If she loses I still got a shot with only hitting one of the parlays.

Don't get nervous, Kickserv... I'll try to hold off on replying in this thread (you know, shooting to the top).... well, as best as I can hold off, that is.
MUMS the work :0041

EDITED Sorry, but ya gotta TAKE OUT Kutnetsov/Montanes OVER. Just didn't realize the deal with Kuz.
That makes it two 3 teamers and one Best Bet.

Good luck with the BIG Slammer to ALL of yas.

Does the "rules" say ya gotta post results?

Does the "rules" say ya gotta post results?

OK, OK, here ya go.....

Results.. Don't have a result for EVERY one I posted, but I can tellyas the bottom line is pretty dang bad :(

Two small parlays -> two losahs.
and
Worser, put a "booster" (Urszula Radwanska -290) in with BEST BET, Goerges to cut down the moola I woulda had to put down on the single play. SURE ENOUGH, the booster did her part.. but there was nuthin to boost. Damn, Goerges lost a REAL nailbiter. SON-ah-ma-BEACH!

Funny thing, notice that my two "+ odds" plays clicked :) Hmmm... maybe I should just do some dog hunting?

Didn't post these but just letting you know that the trend continued (doggie was an outright wiener) for Wednesday plays:
Getting a little bit better - played two parlays -

(copied from my results report)
>
Win 2 Team Parlay
Win 6/26/13 9:30am ATP Tennis 205 Juan Monaco -365* vs Rajeev Ram
Win 6/26/13 9:30am ATP Tennis 223 T.Robredo Games Won +4? -115* vs N.Mahut Games Won
>

no big deal on that one, but how bout this one..

Sure enough the other one had Robredo @ +210 and another dang favorite that ruined the freakin thang -> "Garcia-Lopez -210" UGH,
Moral to that is, "NEVA play a match with somebody in there ya hardly know a thing about" which was the case about the Jamaican/German dude. Guess I mostly went for the seasoned South American player over the Jamaican/German newbie. :nono:

At least I'm improving, so I'll be posting some more if I think I find something worthwhile.

My avatar? Sure is an eye-catcher ain't it? I've been using it for years even before I joined Jack's Place here. The losers can't help but writing something about it which boosts my thread to the top of the listing (I don't post or update my threads that often) when I ain't around and the tennis fans (ESP Nadal fans) LUV it. I use it in any forum room, even the hoss parlar. Psst, I don't think any of them horse players have a clue as to who the hell that is. LOL

Leave it up to the The THONG to find the one he/she found ( I never could find that one myself)... I bet he/she KNOWS what that picture is all about. :)

I got one question
Kicker, your post title sez "... to July 7th". We've been VERY lucky with little or no rain in that place, but - if say the tourney has to go on to say July 8th. Is it OK for me to start a new thread on that day? :00x12
