Linz is still #1 player in the world....Linz has proven over last few yrs that, she's done well on Final matches....
Fact #2:
I've seen Sharapova vs Venus match over and over again thanks to damn rain delays....Sharapova looked like crap....She knew after she got broken in early part of 2nd set that, she was getting her azz kicked and she has accepted it...
Venus made tons of mistakes along with some nice winners wheneever she was down a bp, but i really thought sharapova's inexperience on grass(shara's only 18 yrs old) was shown against an experienced veteran.....
Now, Linz beat Kuzzy...Clijs...and momo....that's damn impressive....
yea, venus beat sharapova and pierce, but so what?

#14 seed has never WON Wimby before....and it won't happend this yr either....
Kuzzy and Clisj are 2 of the biggest hitters in WTA...if Venus had to face these opponents she wouldn't be on that court tomorrow...
Linz has far better controlled shots then venus....
