A Fri NIGHT Gm at Camp Randall, it will be a zoo and if you don't think Wis has REVENGE written all over this JUST SIT BACK and WATCH>>

Wis will pound Fresno with the Huge O line and all american to be RB Davis..Lst Yr Wis tried the Spread Offense, 1st time in 25yrs and look where that got them, Alvarez is going to pound the ball till the Dogs are puppy chow , but they do have the big wideout in Charles just to keep Fresno honest and nobody on Fresno is going to jump with him, along with Sorgi & Bollingers running ability Wis has to many options for the Dogs to keep up with,,The D line is much bigger this year and though young will put more QB pressure thus helping last yrs porous D overall..

With a controlling ground game and upstart D that is poised to prove last yrs 28ppg was the outgoings class legacy comes the Demise of The DOGS::

Zoo is right. Especially with it being a night game. In '98 Wisconsin had homecoming as a night game and I was there. It was insane. Give those students a full day to drink instead of the usual 11:00 a.m. start and you are going to have one rowdy crowd.

Also, UW kicking game looking much, much better. Of course, it couldn't be any worse than it was last year.

One of the best places in he USA to go and watch a football game. If you don't have fun at a Badger game it's because you don't have fun ever.
Wisky 30 to 20.

Wis secondary::
BJ tucker was hung to Dry a few times last yr as all new CB are, but he will come up big this yr and Broussard (last yrs safety who has been replaced) made many miscues that made the CB look bad , well he has transferred and Aiello who is a Huge Hitter has taken his place along with Starks the other CB , they will be vastly improved:the secondary has to work as a unit and last yr btwn the EGOS and mental errors no cohesiveness was maintained and as I mentioned if Pass Rush improves as Touted it makes life much easier on Secondary::New Sec coach Cooper has all new scheme and knows the likes of Berrian and Mich St's Rogers BIG receivers hurt Wis last Yr, that is why Broussard is gone and Ailleo is in, Cooper"This is Big Game for all of us"..

Only obstacle I see is Dogs Sp Teams as the Punter, Kicker and Return man were All Wac performers..

Home field could be overrated in this one -- school doesn't start until Sept 3. And the other thing bothering me is it seems too obvious: big revenge, Fresno lost Carr with no heir apparent. Looking for a reason to go the other way. Seems like the whole world is on the Badgers.

I have some ties to the Wisconsin program and I can tell you that home field will not be overrated. Most of the 45k students there stay in Madison for the summer, mostly just freshman go home for the summers and even so, all apartment leases start on August 16th so even most of the people who went home for the summer will already be back. I don't see that being an issue.

That being said, I don't think the Badgers would be a good play. From what I hear, and my connections there are very good, there are still a lot of question marks on D even as of today and playing them would be a crapshoot as to whether or not the defense can come together in what will be the first start for a lot of the players. It could happen but I don't think it's worth putting money on, esp. with the spread shooting up the way it is. If I had to play the game on the line, I'd play Fresno, but I'll be passing.

The offense should click just fine though. I would expect a lot of points- from both teams. Lean to the over.

I know exactly what you mean about the NCAA. You can trust that no names will ever be mentioned.

One thing I always thought was ironic about that. The players, at least at Wisconsin but likely all teams, get the anti-gambling message drilled into their heads. But then before the 2000 Rose Bowl, one of the people that came and gave a speech to Wisconsin was former World Series of Poker champ Phil Hellmuth, who is the son of a former UW dean. Always get a chuckle thinking about that.

but trust me man...these players know all about sports betting man. Shit they watch ESPN every night...ESPN shows the damn lines for NFL games and stuff on the ticker during the reg season. So it isnt like its NOT in the back of their minds...telling ya man...desperate people do desperate things...thats why I think for some reason the SEC is fixed. I f people dont think some of these games are fixed....come back to reality please....

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I've heard stories, let's just say that. The players always know what the spread is.

One thing I've wondered, I have been a member for over a year but haven't posted much until recently. When they let beantownidiot back in some people complained and someone brought up some post where he attacked you. Anyway, in that thread I learned that you were a kicker at Toldeo. How did you manage to post on this sight? Did you ever get any grief about it? I've been curious about that, because my friends have told me flat out NEVER, EVER, EVER mention their names on anything gambling related.

Like Wisky as well. . . they have the veteran QB which is gold for these first games of the year. Revenge isn't a bad factor either. Line on my book is at 8. . . thinking about buying down to 7 or waiting to see if the public bites on the dog. Doubt they will though.

Well I have always had ambitions to kick D-1...back in high school I made a few tapes and sent them out to 15 D-1 schools throughout the nation...couldnt afford to go to college so I wasnt gonna take anything less then a full ride...and all the schools liked the way I kicked and my speed to the ball and all offered me walk-on schoalrship...didnt like that...so I joined the army...go out got a nice job and now go to school. Well one day I went out kicking for the hell of it and I nailed a 52 yard FG with ease  so during the bowl games last year I decided IAm gonna dedicate myself to kicking and walk-on....so I gave up gambling...posting here..etc etc etc....but bad grades kept me out of football and now Iam back here. Iam still pretty pissed over myself because it looked like I was the projected starter...this guy sucks...he cant even hit a 50 yarder...not havent a threat like a kicker nailing 50 yarders hurts your team...be forced to go for it on 4th down or punt the ball. But I can go back out next year if I desire too... :)
