Wisconsin's Armpit
i thought it would be 6.5, in an effort to get the public money on Penn st, but 11 will be driving a big majority to wisc. This one jumps out at me as one of the biggest hits of the season.

....not even a homer play. This is my first Wisc play all season, but something is definitely up with this line

Wisconsin's run defense is terrible lately.........check out the numbers on their last 4 games........

That is because they have been playing walk ons on the DL. They won't against Penn St.

Penn/Wisconsin

Yeah there is something weird about the line. Being a Buckeye fan I follow every detail of the Big Ten. And I ususally make several plays within the Big Ten every week. I also was thinking around 7-8.5 point spread. Before I make up my mind on this game I a going to watch how the line moves this week. My feeling is there will be enough people betting Wisconsin to drop the line probably around 8 or 7.5 by game time. If the line goes under 10 I am taking Penn State for sure. I would only play Wisconsin on the road. Another thing is Penn State got their ass kicked last year 16-3 and lost the year before that 30-23 and will be looking for revenge against the Bagers. I think Marcus Robinson is the real deal for Penn State and Wisconsin is going to have trouble containing him and his play making abilities. Penn State at home is a solid play. But there a couple trends to look at all games played at PENN ST since 1992 WISCONSIN is 3-1 against the spread versus PENN ST and all games in this series since 1992 WISCONSIN is 6-2 against the spread versus PENN ST. The under could be a great play in this game as well, 4 of 7 games in this series have gone UNDER THE TOTAL since 1992. The under seems almost 10 points too high to me. After looking into this game I really think Penn State wins this one. Those Badger backers are a blessing I hope they hammer that line under double digits and I will be playing Penn State for sure. I also really like the under the in this game. :spotting:
-Any comments anyone?

first of all... marcus robinson? i believe he is a wide receiver for the vikings. you are obviously referring to michael robinson. "the real deal"? are you serious? have you watched him play? i've been a penn state fan for almost 20 years, and he's probably the worst quarterback they've had in that time frame. he's a GREAT athlete, but a terrible quarterback. NO pocket presense whatsoever.

you're calling the under a great play because 4 of 7 games in this series have gone under? 4 of 7? wow, what a strong trend.

that said, i do think that penn state is the play. this line seems to be asking for wisconsin money. GO NITTANY LIONS!!

Okay okay, I meant Michael. I am a Ohio State Fan and comparing our joke of qb to Robinson. Robinson is like Brett Farve when comparing him Troy Shitty Smith. When we played Penn State our qb was their best player. You should be appreciate towards Robinson without that guy no way Penn State would have the record they do. Another thing I am not calling the under just cause of that one trend, its just some info asshole. The total points is too high and the under is a solid play. Considering all of my "strong trends" Penn State and the under on this one. Hate to say it cause I love Joe Pa but Penn State drops a heartbreaker at MSU.

Penn st have suprised many this year with the level and consistency at which they have played. I remember watching them playing Iowa last year at home when getting a first down or into Iowa territory was a huge effort. Not the case this year obviously as they've had no dramas puting points on the board. However, 10.5 is alot to cover against a decent team like Wisky and much alike Pitt on MNF, looks a little inflated. Badgers keep this close IMO with the result in the balance. Taking the points.

John Shaffer?

I don't think Robinson is the worst at PSU in the last 20 years? Wally Richardson? Yes, Robinson is not going to drop back and throw the ball 40 times a game and beat you, but his speed, size and quickness - I think - are the difference this year along with the young gamebreakers on the outside (Butler, Williams, King, Norwood, etc)

I agree, Wisky looks too easy. I too was taken back upon see 10.5 and it has moved to 11. The Lions or no play for me.

The only thing about the game is Penn State at home is very capable of beating the Badgers by a couple TDs. But with the line climbing as fast as it is I might just stay with the under instead of playing Penn State with the points.
