Wisky/Iowa trap?

When I see the phrase "trap line" I think it usually can be dismissed. It almost always involves a road favorite, who isn't laying many pts, due to home court/field advantage. But I see Wisky being favored by only 3.5 (Canbet) at home to Iowa? Wisky coming off big road wins over Indiana and Minnesota and Iowa is flat out poor. Really thought this line would be around 8.

a few reasons WI scares me

a few reasons WI scares me

and I'm a season ticket holder!

1) All of a sudden, UW is getting major attention about its NCAA chances, and comes home off of 2 improbable underdog road wins -- can you say letdown? Also, this is an unfamiliar role for UW tonight.

2) Quick turnaround (Sat-Tues) -- Iowa has done that several times this year, but this is the first time for UW -- how does UW respond?

These 2 reasons are why I am not playing UW, but certainly, recent performance patterns and home-away dichotomy says to play UW.

Good luck with whatever you do, and On Wisconsin!

When Steve Alford said he felt like he was losing control of his team, for me, that sent up the BIG RED FLAG.

NO PLAY ON IOWA .

EITHER FOR OR AGAINST.

FWIW, Kentucky is in this same category.

If you compare lines vs. the same teams using home court as 4 pts, Iowa should be a 1 or 2 point favorite.

Always Prayen-thanks for the kudos. Only total I'm on tonight is the OVER in the St Joes game.

Tom B- you're assuming that those lines were correct. When a team has 14 straight non-covers, I believe they are overrated by Las Vegas.
