...Hard to say anything after last weeks debarkle, but Brisbane and Carlton both look GREAT value at 1.80 and 1.85.

Essendon were outplayed last week and lucky to get the win, and Carlton are obviously taking this very seriously indeed.

I'll definately be having a dabble on them both.

Anyone else have any thoughts this weekend?
Really, the sillier the better apparently! :D

Agree christo, the preseason is so hard to pick and based on last weeks results who knows what's going to happen this week. Do like the lions alot at 1.80 though. The dons won a classic duel late last year when they sparred off at telstra but the circumstances were a little more meaningful. Again, sheedy will be rotating his players and having some 'fun' with this game. Lions look value here.

And the merry-go-round continues! Thought the coasters and lions were good things this weekend but apparently not. Pawa and christo, did you guys watch the games this weekend? Any young draft picks who look promising through the first couple of weeks of the preseason?

the land of confusion
Watched Essendon match it with and beat the reigning champs last night. Saw some of the Melbourne win over the Eagles. Not taking too much interest in it after last weeks shocker. I guess that continuing the current trends would see Richmond knocking off the Saints today (but who cares?!)

Will prime myself for the real season ahead and keep fine tuning the Express along with some other 'interesting numbers'.

When are you back in OZ bomber?

Yet to finalise my flight plans as yet pawa but it will be either the last week of May or first week in June. I live in Brisbane and will fly down to melbourne at least once, if not twice, when I am at home to watch my beloved dons. If you live in Melbourne we should work out a weekend to catch up and watch a game mate. Maybe the dons/roos game if it suits.
Would have liked to have had odds on who will win the preseason
cup. Regardless of who gets it done, the odds would have been more than satisfactory you would think.
