Tracked back the last 5 yrs.... if u bet the Over ATB u would have cashed every yr...some yrs only just, other yrs big-time...

5yr record over/under - 47-25-3 (65.27%)

Maybe y'day's miracle over in the Sts/Rams game means I'm onto something ..... cue 0-4 today

The idea behind it is that in the second to last preseason games a lot of coaches like to leave their starters in a bit longer. The last preseason game is like a day off for starters most of the time so this is kind of the last chance to work the offense.

More starters should mean more points because defenses are almost always very vanilla in preseason, especially as we get closer to the regular season. The caveat in this trend is if you read that a coach is sitting his starters early. Then be a bit more leery.

As a side note, last preseason I posted this trend and something like the first 5 or 6 games on Thurs and Fri went over. I, along with several others, loaded up on Saturday's overs and they went like 1-5. Last season you would have *barely* made money betting the overs ATB, as it took the Monday night game to barely eek out a profit. In 2000 almost every game on this weekend went over and my main man Super Idiota made a killing on them.
