NY Liberty +4 over Conn Sun ***
The two worst teams last yr in the WNBA...11-23 and 10-24 going 15-18 and 13-19 ATS...Sun lost almost their whole team which is really good...they traded Tina Charles their best player to the Liberty...but they got some big time players in Stanfords Owemike and Thomas from Maryland... both will be great pro's...hopefully not on opening nite..Liberty gets Charles who returns home to NY...Pointdexter is a top gd even though she slacked off lyr..Carson is back with Pierson...think with the addition of Tina, Liberty can get a road win.Sun will improve with its star rookies but this team needs time to gel ...in pre-season Sun beat Liberty twice but w/o Charles and Point..
Atlanta Dream -9 over San An. Silver Stars **
Dream has been in the finals the past 3 yrs..they have the top scorer in McCoughty and De Souza inside..Cash was acquired in a trade and they have rookie Shoni Schimmel from Louie who will dazzle the dream fans with her passing and shooting..Silver had some good players back from injury lyr and ND star McBride.Dream should win this by double d's..
Minny Lynx -4.5 over Washington Mystics **
Minny has Moore,Augutus and Whalen...some other injuries but almost everyone back from the championship team...team is loaded and plays great defense..
LA Sparks -4.5 over Seattle Storm **
Magic bought this team to keep them from going broke..they have Parker who is tough to stop and older sister Ogwumike..throw in Wiggans and Beard and they will give the storm some problems..Bird is back in Seattle but Jackson is out for the season..
