There is a boxing match on tonight between Jeff Lacy vs Epifanio Mendoza.
Lacy should win by KO in the middle rounds.
BUT if anyone has a chance at pulling a KO upset, it is Mendoza. He has KO'd 24 opponents with only 4 people lasting the distance.

He has pulled of two first round KO upsets in the past so you never know.

Lacy is the better fighter but has looked like shit since his shoulder surgery a couple of years ago.
Mendoza has a punchers chance and his odds are +600.

Good luck all.

I was looking at this fight too. Im not betting it but I do see Mendoza as a live dog. Lacy has looked bad since Calzaghe and had a close fight with Manfredo earlier this year. I could see Mendoza making this very uncomfortable for Lacy and possibly stopping him in the mid to late rds. Obviously, you'd have to favor Lacy but not by much. The line is waaay off IMO. I see Lacy as -250 and interestingly I expect a close fight with good chance this goes the distance.

I'm making a small Mendoza play

I agree with everything stated here

the lacy-manfredo fight was an atrocity....neither guy wanted to win that one

lacy should be favored tonight and should win, but mendoza, imo, is worth a tickle

Lacy wins a majority decision in a travesty of a fight.

Mendoza had him out on his feet in round 2. He was doing a drunk dance all over the ring but Mendoza missed his punches on the follow up.

He then had Lacy hurt in round 6 and while he is moving back, the ref stops the fight to put Lacy's mouthpiece back in.

The biggest travesty was round 8. Mendoza had Lacy in huge trouble, staggering all over the place, so he just tackles Mendoza and falls on top of him cracking Medoza's head on the canvas. The ref had to give Mendoza a few minutes to recover and his opportunity to finish was gone as Lacy also had a few minutes to recover. The ref does not deduct points for the tackle. He does not even give Lacy a warning. The worst of it was Lacy admitted he was badly hurt and tackled Mendoza to buy himself time to recover.

I agree, but Lacy got whacked on the back of the head mucho times. The ref just ignored it after a while. Lacy looked like day old poop just the same. What a mess. Jeff needs to enroll in ITT Tech or something as he is a terrible fighter and will get destroyed versus anyone one of world class calibre.
