?The Thunder organization has heavy hearts tonight with the news of Ingrid's passing. Words cannot adequately describe how deep our sorrow is for the loss of Monty?s wife. Our thoughts and prayers are with Monty and his family, and we will support him in every way possible. We know the entire community of Oklahoma City has them in their prayers.?

Ingrid Williams was involved in a car crash in Oklahoma City Tuesday night near Southwest 25th and Western. Two people died in the crash.

Monty Williams joined the Thunder coaching staff this season.

Monty Williams is better than me at life:

Monty Williams lost his wife Ingrid in a car accident last week. Monty gave her eulogy yesterday.

And he said this:

"I want to close with this, and I think it?s the most important thing we need to understand. Everyone is praying for me and my family, which is right, but let us not forget that there were two people in this situation.

And that family needs prayer as well, and we have no ill will towards that family.

In my house, we have a sign that says, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." We cannot serve the Lord if we don?t have a heart of forgiveness.

That family didn?t wake up wanting to hurt my wife. Life is hard. It is very hard, and that was tough, but we hold no ill will toward the Donaldson family.

And we, as a group, brothers united in unity, should be praying for that family, because they grieve as well. So let?s not lose sight of what?s important."

RIP Ingrid.

I don't know much about Monty outside of watching him play. After watching his eulogy I have big respect for him. To stand up there that strong after losing your wife takes a lot more than anything I have in me.
